WTA - PC Graphic Card upgrade

Hi!

recently my graphic card (XFX Radeon 6850) is damaged. not really sure coz suddenly my screen got double red line during windows loading and the pc went blank after that. so i change to my backup graphic card and my pc is ok.

im thinking of upgrading my graphic card. hope all the sifu's here can help me to choose.

here are my current pc specs:

Processor: AMD Phenom ™ II X4 955 Processor (3.20 GHz)
Ram: 8 GB
Windows: Windows 10 Pro
Motherboard: ASUSTek M4A87TD

what is the max graphic card i can put into these specs? is GTX 1050 powerful enough? or can up a lil bit more?

Maxis trade in to 5s offer

yesterday i went to maxis KLCC to trade my Iphone 4S to 5S. a promoter greet me (not to be racist so i dont want to mention the race) and asked the reason i came to maxis. after i said about the maxis trade in promotion, he took my phone to check whether my phone is ok to be trade in. a few minutes later he came and said everything was OK. he asked if i already backup my data and i said yes. so he just reset my phone as asked for my IC. few minutes later he came and said that i need to pay an advanced payment of RM700 for the trade in to be complete.

if u guys go to the maxis website, u will see that maxis mentioned that the payment can be waived if u have been with Maxis for more than 1 year and good payment record. maxis trade in offer

actually last month i already called the maxis customer service to asked about this and they said the advanced payment can be waived.

back to the story, he said that the waived payment is actually my balance payment for my current maxis contract. so if i take this offer, i dont have to pay the balance but i need still to pay the advanced RM700. i said that it cant be. i asked him to check again. after a few minutes he came with his friend. his friend asked me when i called the maxis customer service? i lied and said 2 weeks ago (actually a month ago). then they talk to each other (in their language) and his friend said that maxis actually had a new policy. the advanced payment can be waived if i have good payment within the last 6 month, meaning never been barred. if u have been barred then u need to pay the RM700.

i said that maxis never stated that if their customer have a history of being barred they cannot waived the payment. not in their website or either customer service calls. then i decided to just left because i felt that they want to cheat me and and get extra of RM700 from me.

after i went home, i asked the customer service again and the guy said that im exempted for the advanced payment. i just need to pay the iValue cost and i'll get my 5S.
