Glad to share with forum about this laptop that i purchased last week. got it from one of our forumer. already use for a week, this what i can say.

CPU 1.7GHz Intel Core i5-3317U
MS Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
320GB HDD + 32G

can find yourself the technical spec here

1. very2 nice looking, glad to have it. the i5 version have only grey color. light about 1.7kg. ultrabook. purchase it for RM2449.

2. the keypad and trackpad are awesome, some people said they have problem that always touch the trackpad. but ive no problem with that.very comfortable.

3. very fast booting up because they have Intel Rapid Start Technology, so they will make the boot and shutdown faster. that are awesome. this laptop also applies the Intel Rapid Storage Technolgy that will make my SSD as the cache to my HDD. love the speed f this laptop . loading my personal software Eclipse, Android Emulator, Quartus, CCNA Networking Tools with very fast.

4. 13.3" screen are not really bad, less brightness than other but i didn't too care about that. but play HD movie, the picture are very nice. im not the gaming person, so i didnt care about the graphic

5. battery usage. last time i can get only 3.5 or 4 hours only, but when change to power saving mode, i can get 5 to 6 hours with normal usage. the brochure claims up to 7 hours but i dint get it until now... lol..

but

1. the wireless connectivity, hahah... cannot find and detect long range wireless..even going about 5 meter away from my desk, the signal are going down. seem other laptop have the excellent signal, me just get good signal.

here i attach my window experience index. the lowest is graphic for windows 4.9. what can i say is its worth buying, enjoy having it.

Cloud Computing

Hi again,

one of the very important reliable technology now is Cloud Computing. ive already google about that and seems have some understanding on it, just want to open the topic here to get some idea and knowledge from forumers

1. I understand the concept of the cloud computing which it an architecture for make the server in the internet (which means cloud). so no more real physical server on the data center

2. So there are many hosting provider that provide this cloud computing. means the company (client) no need to rent or buy the physical server from them.

3. Question - cloud computing technology claims that they use the internet to store and manage the data. even though in the net, the hosting provider still need the physical server right to manage the cloud server? (i lil bit confusion understanding here for me). so it also use the physical server right?

4. Question - back to traditional method, we don't know if we dont try it. so , is the any simple cloud computing sofware so that we can get better understanding for it.

any other interesting useful information are gladly shared on this thread.

HDD + SSD

sorry guys, im figure out what purpose HDD+SSD on the net but still didnt understand it . Whats the purpose on SSD in the laptop, since its very small about 32G but plus HDD was 500G. is it the place where we put the OS, is there separate drive so that we can just take out or change it?.

need help for buying Lenove u310 tomorrow i5 with HDD+SSD. thanks in advice.

how can i know that the emulator are already connected to the server?....is there any test to make sure that the Android emu can connect to the server?..
