Details of the complaint :

1) Yesterday , I COD with her at masjid jamek burger king.
She brought the phone full box with additional two casing (1 used 1 unused) and 2 screen protectors.

2) During checking, i was not able to check the functionality as she restored the phone to factory default.
prior to activation screen. I was not able to go inside and check. It need to be activated only can access the full function.

UPDATE: Since i was not able to check thoroughly on the spot. I specifically asked her to provide personal warranty for it for few days. She immediately DECLINED.
3) Note: because she was a lady. I trusted her with all the stuff and went back to my office as im rushing back for another meeting. Paid RM1300 for it.

Problems that arised after further checking.
1) First when i check the box when im back office (with proper lighting). I notice the cable was not original, it was OEM. I call her and ask for the original, she said she didnt know about it and clarifies that the original might be in her car. Next day morning (today), she brought two cables, one original and one OEM. I taken the original. ok settle.

2) When i go back and active the phone. First thing i notice is top part of the screen contain dead pixels. It will only obvious when u go into bright colors. (IT IS NOT VISIBLE DURING ACTIVATION SCREEN, REASON : DURING ACTIVATION THE BRIGHTNESS IS SET ON LOW OR MEDIUM, HENCE I ABLE TO SPOT IT ON THE SPOT.)
Immediately after i notice, i called her up straight away yesterday night to confirm the defect. She said that she didnt notice it previously and the phone is fine. But obviously, i tested it with flashlight apps. The defect is VISIBLE when screen is on BRIGHT COLORS. (i came to notice the defects during SETTING tab when i just activated the phone)
Personally, it doesnt sound right to me that she would not spot the defect. It is not a single spots, its mutiple spots on top of the screen.

One most important thing is that, when we discuss, she say dunno at first, then only firmly said that the screen have no defect previously.

3) OK nvm. At this instance i take it as my own fault not able to check thoroughly during COD.
Nevertheless, its a set with 3 months warranty. So i decided to GO MAXIS center and claim for warranty since it still have 3 months warranty to go.

When i go maxis center today, the person incharge checked the phone and found out the water indicator in the charger section has turned RED. Meaning it is not possible to claim warranty without paying them. The cost is RM600~RM1800 which only be able to make known after send it for warranty.

So immediately i called her again to tell her that i wanted a full refund since the warranty is not claimable anymore.

Her reply: firstly, do you know the terms and condtions of trade in lyn ? NO REFUND since you checked it on the spot.

I am seriously pissed off when she said that.

Dear lyners,

Please advice.

Its obvious that she didnt want to refund me and now i'm stucked with defect iphone (water damage) without warranty and who knows how long the phone will survive with its defect.

I formatted it and install vista then this problem arise..

When i boot, it will prompt me to the window

There are two options Sumbit / Cancel

When i press Submit it loads vista

When i press cancel it goes here

Its kinda troublesome whereas everytime i start pc .. i need to press submit only can enter into windows vista >_<

Gurus... any advice?
