Coin operated laundry machines for Budget hotel

Our family is running one budget hotel business (one 3-storey shoplot) in a small town in Pahang. We don't provide in-house laundry service, but there sometimes customer ask about laundry service. We previously thought of outsourcing this with laundry shop in the same town, or even considered doing it ourselves (off premise, like at our own residential home).

But the options are not viable, because of these reason:
- Too much works/time to send the laundry and pickup.
- If ask the laundry to pick up, they charge extra on transportation.
- Then, customer themselves pick up is another issue, need to wait for them, etc.
- Some customers just want to wash/dry urgently, like need to be ready within few hours. We can't provide those urgent services.

So, we are now considering having one washer/dryer in the shop, just to cater for those request, at the same thing, treat it as some kind of passive income (No water/electricity consumed if there is no one using it).

We did a few research, checked with coin laundry operators, they only offer plan/packages for full coin laundry shop, need to get certain minimum numbers of washer and dryer.

I would like check with other budget hotel owners(or whoever that has some ideas), do you think the coin laundry machines as passive income worth the hassle? Like how much margin can we make from it?

We have one coined massage chair in our shop, but the earning is not not really that attractive, and it took up some previous space at the lobby area. We are thinking of converting that space for the laundry machine.

Any thoughts?

thanks

Anyone knows which type of flooring is this?

My house flooring damaged by rain water due to unclosed window.... now I need to repair the flooring, but this is not the typical laminated flooring.
It has some kind of parquet wood as base, then a flooring surface glued on top.

Does anyone know what type of flooring is this? And any contractor that is able to repair this?

Thanks so much
