Do I need a water purifier?

We have been using a cheap water filter and change the filter from time to time, we also cook the water again to be safe for drinking.
Untill one day our electric kettle died, and we are thinking should be get a better water filter that is safe for drinking without cooking or should we apply from famous water purifier company like
cuckoo, coway but the monthly rental is ranging from 80-180 per month, so exp for just water, is not like they are paying our water bill also....

We grow up with cheap water filter and early year without filter at all, just cook and drink. So, is it even necessary?

Is it a normal thing that company should always provide a monthly salary slip at the end/beginning of the month?

The company I worked for doesn't do that, they only provide to us upon request which I find this very odd.
To make things difficult I have to keep sending follow up emails to get that. If I'm unlucky, I'm only able to get my slips after 1-2 weeks.

Display monitor at higher resolution

Recently I bought a 27' inch monitor which display at highest 1920 by 1080.
Is there a way to upscale the resolution as the screen is quite huge for me, I'm thinking to increase the resolution so
everything could be smaller and I can multitask with 3 split screens.

I tried Custom Resolution Utility(CRU) but to adjust to a custom screen, but seems like doesn't work also. After a bit of search online
they say I will need a dedicated NVIDIA graphic card in order to do so. Currently, I'm using an intel i7-3770 with build-in HD Graphics 4000...

How to invoice without a company?

So I was doing a freelancing project for my client, but I do not own a company for my services. When comes to invoicing I can create my own title but the problem is, it is still not under a registered company.

My client has an issue with my invoice as it is not a legit company, as it might face auditing issues.... Is there any way to overcome this? Like going through a 3rd party company or a freelancing portal that doesn't incur additional charges?

Is eWallet these days still worth using?

Due to the recent massive decline in eWallet value for GRAB (used to be x20, x9 then x3 and now required even more points to redeem stuff) and Boost (more points required for exchanging cash with lesser value), and Bigpay point is difficult to earn if you are just using for topping up eWallet.
Consider you only earn 1 point for every RM10 spend, to redeem a flight outside Malaysia one way will cost at least 10,000 points......

As for touch n go (only good if there is a campaign running, otherwise you don't get any benefits out of it).

Is eWallet still worth it?

I would personally go for NO, and switch to using credit card with cashback instead or switch to card that gives me at least x5 and x8 points for exchanging vouchers in future.

So a friend of mine told me that in the eyes of non-chinese (malay or indian), chinese have some sort of body odour(garlic smell) when they come into contact with a chinese. Chinese will not be able to tell but non-chinese can smell it, is it true?

I saw AEON does provide cash back for insurances from genxgenygenz but that was a couple of years back not sure it still works.

Rude CIMB officer conned me into buying insurance

Was OTing in office and suddenly this rude malay lady claimed from CIMB want me to buy their insurance.
Kept digging my personal info and mailing address in attempt to trick me to sign up for their insurance even though I don't want to.

I even politely reject and explain that I already have my own insurance but she just keep talking and talking about how good her insurance is and interrupt me when I was talking, all she care was hard selling her insurance and also cover for dengue treatment so you don't have to pay a single cent when you admit to hospital. (Please la, most modern medical card already have that)

The conversation soon escalate into a fight and I have to hung up on her eventually.

I would be surprise if anyone would actually stupid enough to sign up for an insurance with her when she don't even listen to what the customer is after and harass them when they don't sigh up.

Transaction code from CIMB?

Bought an item from LAZADA during 11.11 but wasn't successful and my credit card was charged as a result.
In order to do the refund LAZADA requested a 'transaction number' and also the pdf proof for that particular charge from credit card.

I went through CIMB CLICK site and there is only a single row stating I was being charged x amount from LAZADA with the time and no transaction code and etc.

So I called up CIMB and took them 1 day to provide me the info but they said they do not have the 'transaction number' as well as the pdf for that particular transaction, the only thing they could provide me was the 'approval code' number.

I get back to lazada and telling them I only have the approval code number with the screenshot from my cimb click showing Lazada have charged x amount from my card during 11.11. Then LAZADA said it wasn't enough, without the transaction code they can't trace back the transaction......

So what can I do now, CIMB doesn't have the transaction code and pdf, and LAZADA will not make the refund if I don't have the transaction number. This is my worst LAZADA experience ever!!

I would go for AIDS since it is no longer fatal and can be controlled. I rather no see someone go through long process of chemotherapy and suffer, but it also depends on what kind of cancer though.
