[advise needed] Engine Oil Leaking

Hi Guys,

Need some advise - found out that my engine oil is leaking and when I checked, the oil is dried out, no trace of oil on the piece of tissue. I'm planning to buy a bottle (probably a 1 litre or is there a 2 litre oil?) to refill and from there, able to drive the car to a nearest mechanic shop to have this issue checked out.

Is the idea above feasible? I'm currently using Fully Synthetic Oil and for this temporary replacement, could I simple picked up any 1 litre or 2 litre (what's the best amount and any engine oil?, pls advise) engine oil from petrol station to refill - just for a short temporary basis as I believe upon having the issue checked out at the mechanic shop, this would be all flushed out.

Any idea? Thanks in advance.

WTA Digital Output

Hi there,

Could anyone be able to help out here as I'm unable to link the sound from my Samsung LED (UA40D6600) to my receiver (Pioneer VSX 818V). I used the digital output from my tv and connect it at my receiver, however there are no sound produced when I play movies on my TV using an external USB hardisk. Is there any particular setting that I need to amend both from my TV or receiver? Really appreciate any advise here, many thanks.

Wardrobe Anti Jump Sliding Doors

Hi there, anyone can recommend for any source to fix these anti jump sliding doors for wardrobe. I just need the sliding doors and not the shelves. I would probably need 2 sets of 6 feet length and 8 feet height. Currently, i'm using the old fashioned ones that is tough to push, was thinking to change these sliding door to the anti-jump style. Or if there is better proposition, can anyone suggest? Let me know of the estimated price as well. Thanks ppl.

SPA & Loan Processing Fees

Hi there,

I just got a place for the purchase price of 455K (freehold condo with strata title) and was wandering on an estimate, how much would the preparation of SPA together with the legal services amount to. As far as I understand based on a couple of quotations provided, the SPA and the stamp duty are fixed and could not be discounted further. Is that somehow true?

Also, do you guys actually engage 1 lawyer only to provide the service with SPA, Government Stamp Duty and the Loan processing fee. Or on a normal basis, the loan processing fees are financed into the loan amount and handled by the banker's panel of lawyers. This is the first time I'm buying a property and on certain points, I'm clueless as to what would be the best recommendation.

And regarding the discount on the legal fees, I was provided a quote by the lawyer and accordingly after requesting for discount, the lawyer suggested that the discount of 1K+ should be fine. However the terms of the payment dictate that I would need to pay full following the quotation fee and once the funds are received by the firm, they will issue a cheque based on the discount amount back to me. This kinda method is kinda dodgy without any black and white, anyone heard of this before and is it normal?
