help needed, recently my old Dell xps m1330 os are crashed. than i found that the laptop only support CD-R but not DVD.

can i using external ODD to loading Win installer ?
or remove the HDD and plug in to PC format and re-plug to laptop again for using ?

the case was like this
when i in BF2 the pc suddenly power off,
after that i push on power button the casing few on for 1 second than no power already.
any sifu can teach me how to check ?

when i install all ram to mobo, the pc unable complete cold boot ! just keep blue screen..
it will boot when clear cmos each time boot or removed 1 ram from slot.

so from the statement is it ram issue or mobo issue ???

I was wondering if we could get a list going of which mobos allow x8/x8 crossfire/sli, and which ones only allow x16/x4. I've been reading reviews, and many of them don't bother mentioning it. They'll just say "Supports Crossfire! Two PCI Express x16 slots!" without specifying the difference. I'll update this list as I read more reviews.
