I wanted to get a new laptop preferably 17 inches. I was thinking to get a 1720 (since I am quite a happy Inspiron 9300 owner) but there's one issue that I read on some forums. Is it true that the machine has only one fan? How's the average temperature? Also, how is the sound quality? is it comparable to the older model 9400/9300?

My other option would be 15.4 inch Vostro 1500 (Dell not selling 1700???). I really don't need a very very portable machine, lol. Thanks! shengh Mobile Computing Mon, 23 Jul 2007 02:03:58 +0800
