Samsung RC420 - Wifi Problem

hi peeps,

i need abit of assistance here. I have a Samsung RC420 which is almost a year already with me. Previously before I had no issues in connecting to the net using public wifi or home unifi. The network will still be connected continuously. However, recently I noticed that the wifi connection will freeze after a certain period. I"m not able to click on the network icon, even if i mouse over the icon nothing shows. Only after I reboot my lappy, and start up a new connection will I be able to get connected to the net.

Its quite a hassle as it does that every few 20 mins or so, and restarting all over again. Is there something wrong with the wifi card on my lappy? How do I rectify this? Any solutions? I can't seem to find a thread that has a similar issue with me.

What about an external usb wifi adapter, will it work? Any suggestions and solutions, please? Am getting more frustrated day by day.

Thanks a million!
