MSI's Lucky Unboxing on Special Occasions

I got a great opportunity to drop by at MSI's booth a few months ago at Taiwan.

Today we are going to have a special cup edge sub twist-unboxing share, which presented by MSI, a world leading E-Sport hardware Taiwan brand. When mentioned about MSI, mostly people comes up with except E-Sport hardware is MSI mascot dragon named “A-LON”. However, now A-LON has its brand new style and a new name called “LUCKY.”

Where to get these awesome MSI LUCKY series twists? These twists were “caught” on MSI booth in 2017 COMPUTEX, which had three different styles in whole.

I was incredibly lucky to “catch” the complete series of LUCKY twists, and meanwhile MSI staff exchanged the box-packed for me. How nice it is!

Now it is time to reveal why I mentioned about “catch.” We will see…

Gotcha!!!

I am surprised MSI has this breakthrough of claw machine! I hope that MSI can make it more popular to locate the machine in Station Front Metro Mall, and then I may have the chance to have a 1080 graphic card coupon twist. (Lol)

After finishing the tour of 2017 COMPUTEX, it is unbearable to go back to work. So how about having an unboxing show to memorize the exhibition.

(Inside-box)

Since there are even having manual as common twist in the box, it is possible to see it on the street in the future!

There are three different postures in the series.

First of all the traditional Jenga display of the three LUCKY cup edge sub!

Alright! I admit I don’t know what I am doing…

I think the one below is the most interesting one. (Lol)

(I personally thinks this is the cutest one <3 )

(that big belly though... )

Let’s have a try to hang it on the screen.

Well, it turns out that only this one can be hanged on screen.
(This LUCKY posture is cool and unique! Lol)

Overall, this MSI LUCKY series twists is quite delicate. The only cons is that the angles and range for hand hanging is not wide enough. The three cup edge sub cannot be hanged on everything, for instance, only two of them are able to hang on the previous Starbucks cup, which is kind of sad. Despite of the hanging issue, the three little LUCKY MSI dragon are so adorable indeed!

DRAGON ON MY FINGERRRRR

I believe this is a limited edition thing that I saw MSI Facebook Page is currently doing a giveaway iirc.
[unboxing] Laptop for designers

As you recall I did an unboxing for MSI PE60 a couple of weeks back. I took it for a special calibrating and I love it.
I've been carrying it around to office, work, gatherings because I am constantly editing photos and designing banners.
My good friend, let's call him A-kun.

A-kun have been with my a lot these few weeks, he saw my new laptop and gave it a try.
How we use to edit photos is by carrying a ipad or iphone with us to check on the colors of our photographs.
He's so impress with my PE60, he decide he needs a 2nd working laptop too. And here's a PL60 from his side.

So He went and bought one, I thought might as well we do another unboxing.

All P-series comes with a sleek briefcase laptop bag. It's Targus lvl, so its good and sturdy.

Some peel porn.... kidding. I wouldn't peel the skin off unless it's tattered close to dog bite.

As stated in the images, it has the older CPU but still i7, and still works. Since we are not using any high-end programs anyways.
And it runs on 1050 , 2GB may not be sufficient for games like soon-to-be-realease Nier Automata sort of game on PC.
But running it on 30fps on Overwatch wouldn't be a problem

We did a small testing immediately with my dolls snapshots, the color is as good as PE60 after calibrating.

There are 5 options for types of view mode you wanted to use ur laptop for. I'll go for designer since this is suppose to act as a working laptop.

It has 3 3.0usb and the basic jacks and ports that a basic laptop has. As usual moderate enough.

I personally think that P-series is a underrated designer laptop from MSI.
MSI is definitely well known for their gaming laptops however people lost track of the whole idea of P-series.
P-series is not a gaming laptop. It's a designer laptop designer to be sufficient, fast and classy.

I hope you like my unboxing, I will stress test the GPU and see how fast can it goes for gamings.

[Ask] ROG GL553's feedback?

Yo gamers!

I just busted my gaming computer .Looking for a replacement.
Just saw that ASUS GL553 is back again. Specs looks promising? But I am indecisive because I had my heart on MSI GE Series because of IPS (stream and design purposes) , backlit KB, and also because of 1060 is available on GE.

I wanted to ask some opinions before I decide.

Suggestions and critics are most welcome!

[Unboxing] MSI PE60

Hi guys,
I previously uses ASUS throughout my college year, it didn’t last the 4th year mark and I bought two Lenovo Laptops consecutively. 1st Lenovo was a Ideapad serious, battery didn’t lasted me very long.
I bought another Lenovo laptop Y series, which also didn’t work out for me, because it’s too bulky + the laptop bag they gave can’t even fit. (pretty sure they gave me a old bag) and I needed something that I can game on while doing my freelance work.

I got a pretty nice deal from a friend’s contact. And it fitted my usage. I wanted to share with you my unboxing moment. SADLY, I busted my box ;w;… so I didn’t want to show you my ugly packaging, lets jump straight to the laptop.

Oh and DUMB ME, I was thinking of doing a unboxing for my blog nicely in a café. But I forgot to bring my charger T_T so the laptop is not lit!

Usage:
Adobe Programs
Games (FFXIV, Overwatch, Steam heavy loading games)

Screen is relatively big in size 15”. I previously used a 13” inch and it’s very small for my office table, I need to pull the laptop as close to me as possible to see my designs and flaw accurately. This screen is just in the right size.

I have not tested out the screen myself I am pretty sure the color was A-ok for designer purposes. As I’ve personally tried the same unit beforehand.
Bear in Mind, so far I’ve not encounter a single laptop that’s powered by Windows that does not need calibration. In order to achieve sRGB accuracy, you’ll still tweak it a little.

It comes with a card reader (great for photographers to transfer), USB 3.0 x3, USB 2.0, HDMI

Weight is definitely lighter than my handbag and it’s a great lap-size.

Keyboard is bonus for me, because I always work at night or play games. Backlit light are useful for designers+gamers who are using the laptop in dim/dark rooms.

This laptop is great for gamers who play MOBO gamers however not really working for games that required high fps to work (FPS-games)

Overall I am happy with my purchase, considering this is a working /gaming laptop. I am not considering MAC because I could run games and stream cam at the same time. Hence PE series is a great find for my choice of Laptop.

I did a little reading on blogs and website , that states PE have a really cheap looking design. I beg to differ, the silver casing are not plastic, their aluminum casing looks super classy to me, it’s sleek and simple just like what their catalogue shows it to be. It’d be great to bring out to see customers instead of flashy and bulky laptops.

I'll do some test before I post my review again
