Hello all, just got my first ever decent speakers, before this I was just using normal acer monitor built-in speakers or pasar malam speaker.

I got an issue here, the setup was a bit complicated for me, currently I finally manage to have sound coming out from my right speaker after I change the black cable port to the bottom OUTPUT port on my pc, but the left speaker got no sound, the transparent wire is connected by silver on black clamp and copper / golden on red clamp on the right speaker, the same for left speakers, any idea ?

Hello, I plan to get my first and last MacBook, plan to use it long term, long term as in 10-20 years down the road.

I mainly going to use it for admin work / YouTube / Netflix / photoshop lightroom etc, and plenty of browser multitasking on and off, I also prefer bigger screen than small screen.

I need something that is fast, and 10 years down the road it'll still be fast, as laptops is unlike desktop we can't upgrade / change the hardware inside. So would appreciate some recommendations on which model to get ? Budget shouldn't be too big of an issue because there's installments options.

Hello, I received Razer Ornata V3X as a gift, I've played around with the lighting patterns on the Razer Synapse app, so far I'm liking Static, but is there a way to have Static, with rainbow colors ? Basically different combination of colors together, or can only have one solid color ? Is there a way to have rainbow colors over the keyboard ?

Side question - The keyboard wrist pad that comes with it, it's independent ? Tried following the instructions to fix it but it doesn't click or have any magnets.

Hello, just want to ask majority for names opinion

I'm opening a pet hotel + grooming business with a partner, we shortlisted this 2 names at the end. Pls help advice / vote on the names to see which fits best from a business standpoint , which includes first impressions , easy to remember & pronounce, looks & sounds good etc.

Hello, not sure if this is the right place to post this, but if it's not Mod please move it, thanks.

So let me start off by saying I am given an opportunity to start a business of my own, basically it will be a Pet Hotel business, as most of the stuff is already there, and it's fully renovated.

Background
My dad have a friend whom he known for years, his a singaporean and owns a 3 storey corner shop lot here in Johor Bahru, in the beginning he let his son run the business but he failed, due to poor management and other stuff, after that there were a few who came to him for partnership, but none works out well, so it's currently vacant, and just so happens my dad knows him, so he ask my dad if his interested in running it as a pet hotel ?

My dad full-time job is actually a contractor, but since 30 years ago his been taking in stray dogs and cats from the streets, and owns a few shelter that cares for these abandoned animals, so with this, he have about 30+ years of experience in terms of animals related stuff, he also have many people asking him about pet hotels, so he thought why not take over this business, run it from scratch and see if we can make it work ? Basically this friend of his owns the properly, we will be paying him rental, so we have not discuss anything at all, it's all in pre-stage, we just visited the shop today and had a brief discussion, casual talk really.

So my question is this, I'm posting this here seeking for advice from all you people that have / had experience in running a business, or even better, a pet hotel business.

What should I be looking out for ?
What questions to ask ?
What is the risks involved ?

Basically I want to know the whole package, I know it's not easy running a business, especially as a first timer but I don't mind giving it a go, I also know it's takes a lot of time to do survey, research, planning and everything, I won't jump straight into it because that's a death trap, I want to take things slow and step by step, hence this post asking for advice. I also have a close friend who does business and his quite a successful businessman in his early 50s.

So yeah, please do advice me on the basic, for the rest and more in-depth stuff I will also consult my friend.

Hello, so I'm planning to get the new saga, mainly because it fits under my budget and I do not want to have a higher amount of commitments than this for now. I've been to test drive the car a few times, to my surprise even though it's a A / almost to B segment entry level sedan, the power is sufficient, handling is good, and NVH is decent, fuel consumption is good, no complaints there.

My dad was asking me this morning what car I'm planning to buy, I told him Saga, he said why not consider Perodua ? Because he believes that Proton is not as reliable, in terms of their QC, defects, quality and everything, which is true, I'm also in the Saga MC 3 group, so I can see all issues about it. This is also particularly why I'm waiting for 2nd / 3rd batch of Saga, as yes there's a lot of small - big issues when they launch the 1st batch saga, so I'm still keeping my fingers crossed and hoping they would improve and do well on the QC, quality and every other aspects.

So just putting it out here for discussion, with 50K budget, excluding second hand cars, is this the best value for money car we can get ? I personally love to have some fun drive, and surprisingly according to most car reviewers, if you are on a budget, and you enjoy driving, look no further than the saga.

Hello, i just renewed my VEP autopass insurance and roadtax for my car, as it expired on the 18th, until now no news from LTA, only the email that confirmed they received my update application, I must drive into singapore on the 25th no matter what, as my mum is flying off on that day. So, can I just go ahead to Singapore, and if any issue, I just show them the confirmation email ? I remember a friend did this before when he had no choice but to go in, and if i remember correctly, no issue.

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the correct or appropriate place to post this, but nonetheless if it's wrong mod please remove / move to the correct section.

I'm looking for anyone who's letting out the car plate number 17, the prefix can be from any states but preferably Johor, I'm on a budget so this may be wishful thinking but no harm giving it a try.

A little backstory ( NOT trying to gain any form of sympathy or gain pity points ), my grandfather passed away 2 years ago, during his time alive, I have always been the closest to him, even more so after my grandmother passed away and after COVID happened, his been taking care of me ever since I was born, so yes our relationship is very very tight, I would say I'm more close to him than to my parents.

Anyway, on the day before he passed, he was not in a good state, but he did ask to see me and he called my name, and he told me out of nowhere saying that in the future, when you buy a car, get the number 17, it doesn't have to be a good car or luxury car, but if you can, get the number 17. I guess until today, I do not know the answer to why he insists on me getting the number 17 when I get a new car, fast forward to today, I finally am financially stable enough to get a new car, but I only plan to get it next year, so while I'm on a tight budget, if God permit, I would want to ask if anyone just so happen is / will be letting go of their number 17 car plate, if you are, please do drop me a PM, and we can discuss further. Proton Saga MC3 - Premium

Hello, I plan to get the saga as my first car ownership. In the past until current, I've only been driving secondhand cars that me / my dad bought, for example a 06' volvo S60, 06' Mitsubishi Outlander VRX, Toyota Avanza, all of the cars that I've driven isn't new, and it's at least more than 15-20 years for some.

Recently, I thought of getting a new car, mainly because my mitsubishi fuel consumption is really bad, just for an example, it's a 2.4cc car, if I pump let's say RM 20 today, just by going to a few places in total of 30-40 KM, the fuel light will have already light up, either that or the fuel gauge will already reach empty, that's how abnormal it is. Anyway, the main point here is to talk about the new Proton Saga, I've read a lot of reviews and seen all the videos that is available, it seems really value for money and the best of car if not one of the best to get under RM 50K.

Perhaps it'll be easier for you guys to provide me with your opinion and advice on whether I should get this car based on my requirements.

- Must be fuel-saving
- I mainly drive around town, my daily route is about a total of 20-30 KM, sometimes more, mainly going from Place A to B as fix, then running some errands.
- I would love to drive the car for outstation occasionally, from JB to Melaka, or KL, please advice if this saga is suitable in terms of comfort / NVH / power, of course not comparing with other segments, just in general.

Hi all, would appreciate some legal advice regarding a problematic neighbor situation. I'll try to be as detail as I can on the timeline and the issues that we are facing.

Before we even moved into our house, while renovations were still ongoing, our next-door neighbor already showed aggressive behavior, they are a family, the mother's house is beside us, and the son's house is beside the mother's, I remember I made a post about this quite a while back, but bear with me as I have the latest shenanigans. So to those who is new, they openly told us that they would turn anything, no matter how big or small into an issue and complain to the local council. Even before reno started, a small leaf that happened to fall over her side of the fencing — he snapped a photo, circled it, and messaged us demanding we cut it immediately. These were the early petty issues.

Fast forward to now, things have escalated in a rather concerning way. For context, our area has been overrun with pigeons for years because the whole row of houses was abandoned for a long time before we bought the house. Recently, I believe since they got nothing left to complain, our lovely neighbor started complaining about pigeon droppings on her windows. To be fair, we are flocked by the pigeons too and they are constantly in our back garden, and my family had to chase them away each time, not to mention our dogs would do the chasing job for us too occasionally. So, the problem is today, she openly accuses us of feeding the pigeons and even claims we “own” the pigeons, which for a moment, it's really funny, and obviously ridiculous, but also it shows us a worrying behavior from her. Her son has been quiet recently, to the extend that I would be out of the house, and he sees me, but don't dare to approach me, before this her son would be aggressive towards me and even threaten to hit me at one time, but as of late, he doesn't even dare to look at me, but that's not important here.

So on top of all of that;

- She would burn some kind of incense pointed directly toward our house, from her balcony, likely to "curse" us or whatever.

- She frequently shouts and makes baseless accusations about pigeon shit, cat urine (there are stray cats here because there are a few kampung houses below), and the cats belongs to them.

- She has lodged countless complaints to MBJB, but the council has taken no action because there’s no actual offence on our side.

At this point, I'm sure all of us can tell this is those typical trouble-maker neighbor that just wants to create troubles and complaints with the free time that they have, basically it all happens after she comes home from work, in the evening, and on weekends. We do have all the video and pictures as evidence saved in our phones.

My questions to the legal experts is;

- From a legal standpoint, what can we do to protect ourselves from continuous harassment/false accusations ?

- Can her behavior be considered nuisance, intimidation, or harassment or even mental disorder under Malaysian law ?

- Are we allowed to take further action (e.g. police report, restraining order) ?
