UPDATE [12:37]: Tuoi Tre, a leading daily in Vietnam, reports that the Vietnamese Navy has confirmed the plane crashed into the ocean. According to Navy Admiral Ngo Van Phat, Commander of the Region 5, military radar recorded that the plane crashed into the sea at a location 153 miles South of Phu Quoc island.

When contacted, Malaysia Airlines declined to confirm or deny the reports, saying that the Malaysian authorities are working together with the Vietnamese government on the matter.

Zahia Dehar was just 16 when she allegedly started accepting cash from a range of famous players, including Frenchmen Franck Ribery, 30, and Karim Benzema, 26.

Both men – whose combined wages amount to some 17 million pounds a year - face up to three years in prison if they are found guilty of having sex with an underage prostitute.

Ms Dehar, now 20, has become one of the most famous names in France since the players were first arrested, building up a career as a reality TV star, and the muse of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. Trading on her notoriety as a sex symbol, Zahia Dehar reinvented herself as a lingerie designer, showing her first collection on the Paris catwalks last January.

Zahia posed for photographers outside the Atelier Versace Haute Couture SS 2014 show in Paris. The show was attended by a host of celebrity names including Lady Gaga, who is the face of the spring 2014 Versace campaign, acclaimed fashion photographer Mario Testino, as well as Donatella Versace herself.

Zahia, who admits she takes three hours getting ready for work each morning, has managed to launch a successful design business from a scandalous start.

Samsung pays Apple $1 Billion sending 30 trucks full of 5 cent coins

30 trucks filled with 5-cent coins arrived at Apple’s headquarters in California. Initially, the security company that protects the facility said the trucks were in the wrong place, but minutes later, Tim Cook (Apple CEO) received a call from Samsung CEO explaining that they will pay $1 billion dollars for the fine recently ruled against the South Korean company in this way.samsung-pays-apple-1-billion-sending-30-trucks-full-of-5-cents-coins

The funny part is that the signed document does not specify a single payment method, so Samsung is entitled to send the creators of the iPhone their billion dollars in the way they deem best.

This dirty but genius geek troll play is a new headache to Apple executives as they will need to put in long hours counting all that money, to check if it is all there and to try to deposit it crossing fingers to hope a bank will accept all the coins.

Lee Kun-hee, Chairman of Samsung Electronics, told the media that his company is not going to be intimidated by a group of “geeks with style” and that if they want to play dirty, they also know how to do it.

You can use your coins to buy refreshments at the little machine for life or melt the coins to make computers, that’s not my problem, I already paid them and fulfilled the law.

A total of 20 billion coins, delivery hope to finish this week.

Apple Passes Coca-Cola as Most Valuable Brand!

APPLE is the new most valuable brand in the world, according to a closely followed annual report.
The report, to be released on Monday, is from Interbrand, a corporate identity and brand consulting company owned by the Omnicom Group that has been compiling what it calls the Best Global Brands report since 2000. The previous No. 1 brand, Coca-Cola, fell to No. 3.
Not only has Apple replaced Coca-Cola as first among the 100 most valuable brands based on criteria that include financial performance, this is the first time that the soft drink known for slogans like “It’s the real thing” has not been No. 1.

The report estimates the value of the Apple brand at $98.3 billion, up 28 percent from the 2012 report. The value of the Coca-Cola brand also rose, by 2 percent to $79.2 billion, but that was not sufficient to give Coca-Cola a 14th year as Interbrand’s most valuable brand.

SHAH ALAM: A couple claimed trial at the Sessions Court today to 30 counts of charges of oil spill in Sungai Selangor that affected about 1 million consumers who went without water for several days three weeks ago.
Ng Kim Bok, 55 and wife H'ng Soo Chiew, 56, were jointly charged with 30 and 20 counts respectively under the Environment Quality Act 1974 and the Selangor Water Management Authority Enactment (LUAS).

PETALING JAYA, Sept 4 — The price of RON97 petrol will go up by 15 sen by midnight tonight, according to the Petrol Dealers Association of Malaysia (PDAM).
PDAM president Datuk Hashim Othman confirmed that the price will go up due to various global issues such as the United States’ planned strike on Syria and the ringgit’s recent poor performance.
He explained that the association decided against making a public announcement of the hike in the interest of public safety.
“We just want to avoid causing a rush at the petrol stations. Just look at what happened when the price of RON95 went up, there were all sorts of incidents and accidents so we just wanted to avoid that from happening,” he told The Malay Mail Online when contacted.
