Which is better connections for gaming/streaming?

Hello to all Sifu,

Can anyone of you advise, which is the best connection for gaming and streaming movie? i don't do torrenting because for me waste my storage to keep all the big file movies in my hard disk. I always stream any contents from internet.

Currently i'm using 4mbp Streamyx, but in this few months i'm having bad latency and packet loss is high during playing games. I'm thinking to upgrade to 8mbp Streamyx due to unavailability of Unifi at my area, sometimes need to refresh browser a few times when watching Youtube because it keep playing at 144p only although i already save the setting to 720p everytime watching.

My concern is, if i upgrade to 8mbp Streamyx does it improve my packet loss during gaming and also no buffering during streaming?

Thanks.
