Dualshock controller left thumbstick

hi guys, as the topic says, my Dualshock controller left thumbstick kinda peel off ,
and theres a pic of it

ive got it together with the PS3, and its about two year already ? (got it ard the end of FIFA11 year)

anyone of u guys had ur controller rubber to peel off as well? its kinda sticky and rough, not comfortable and nice to play with, cause it gets sticky really,

so i was wonderin if any of u guys had the same problem, if so , what do u guys do about it?
-is it possible to get a new one under warranty? (tho i highly doubt so)
- any ways to fix it / improvise it ?

dont really wanna waste another hundred for another controller just because the left thumbstick peeled off

not able to click on any thing on windows?

so yeah, as the title goes,
not able to click on any thing on windows ONLY.
basically, i've just booted up my PC, open the Google Chrome from the row on the windows 7 i've pinned it to
and then when i started trying to click on the windows start button, there's no response, or the glow showing that the mouse is hovering over it. same goes for everything that is on the bar.
then i just alt+tab+del to open up task mangaer to see anything wrong, but the same thing happens on the task manager,i cant seem to click on anything.
the funny thing is , still can alt+tab around to Google chrome ,and to type&click as usual on it whereas on the windows explorer, i cant.
after a few mins it does start working again, then commands i've input earlier on the windows explorer started popping up .
otherwise if it prolong, i just alt tab del to logoff.
what's it gonna do with my PC? is it aging or some sort?
the specs just incase you guys do need it:

W7 ultimate-n 64bit
intel® core 2 duo cpu e6750 @ 2.66ghz
RAM ; 6gb

Can't turn on my computer /monitor flickering

Hi guys, ever since i've come back from CNY hols,my screen monitor(SamsungSyncMaster Magic CX931BW) has been flickering during starting up, and after i wake my com up when it's in sleep mode. it does stop flickering though after few mins of dizzy spell
i've changed the refresh rate from 75 to 60hz and back to 75hz , still the same, how do i identify what the problems lies in?

or does it have to do with the Graphic Card?
i just wanna make sure before spending on a new monitor
and erm, if i do have to get a new monitor, what do u guys suggest? lcd monitors etc? i use my com for gaming mostly

edit: recently i cant turn on my cpu as well, it does make a sound like it was gonna start up when i press the power button,but it doesnt.
