Melted power plug

My PSU power plug melted... I just noticed it today... probably started 2-3 days ago... see picture below...

My PSU is Thermaltake 1250w, I have one Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 Ti inside... the rest are just pretty standard items... (the PSU is overkill for my setup but that is for another thread)...

Anyway, I connected that power cable to a Belkin extension as seen in the picture... that Belkin extension powers a few other items such as my monitor, phone charger, and a fan... I don't believe any of these items can cause the PSU cable to melt... those are pretty standard low voltage items...

The PSU power cable (the one that melted), is TNK brand.. it is rated for 13A and 250v... which is pretty standard... this should be good for 3250w... my PSU is only 1250w.. even then it is not drawing that much 1080 Ti at peak is only 250w...

So why?? Right now I have replaced the power cable with another one... so far no heat or anything like that as far as I can tell... so why lah?? why??

Terrible speed after being 'upgraded' to 30mbps

My Maxis Home Fibre was 'upgraded' from 10Mbps to 30Mbps recently... but the speed is terrible and very-very unstable.... sometimes the internet just got disconnected intermittently and it isn't Wifi issue... the wifi signal strengh is good, full bar at all time.

So I did the speed test and here is the result:

[attachmentid=10108996]

I did this test when no one is using the internet. This is terrible!... my daughter keeps complaining her youtube always putus-putus!!... What is going on Maxis?? What can I do? This package is supposed to be 30Mbps package.

For the record, I have been using Maxis 10Mbps package for years.... and never had any problem like this... For the past 3 years or so I rarely had any speed/connectivity issue. But after being 'upgraded' to this 30Mbps package I started having problem like this.

I did several more speed tests and the results are terrible, like this...

[attachmentid=10109009]

Guys,

Need some advise here... I am thinking of buying Mi A2 Lite (currently RM600 in Lazada).

My budget is that much only... is this a good choice? What phone would you buy for that much (or little) money?

I will use WhatsApp, Waze, Twitter, only... no gaming anything... just need a reliable affordable phone... a good photo quality would be an added advantage.

Thanks sifus....

Where to buy gym floor mats?

Does anyone know where to buy gym rubber floor mats?

I do deadlift at my home gym and right now I have to slowly lower the weight to the floor otherwise I could damage the floor, not to mention the noise!

Lowering the weight slowly is also bad for my back.. I wish I could just let go the weight and let it fall to the floor.. like in those professional gyms!

I prefer wood flooring like in professional gyms, but something like this would be OK. http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/gym-noise-...r-flooring.html

Anyone know where can I find this floor?

Where to buy squat rack/power rack?

Hi guys,

I am new here, and I just started weight lifting about 2 months ago.. I am 173cm tall and 72kg weight.. (with about 21% fat). I am into squat and deadlift (with some other exercise like military press etc).

I am looking for power rack (or squat rack) so that I can squat properly, used power rack is also acceptable as long as in good condition.

Anyone know where to look for this thing? My budget is below 3K.

Regards.
