Would like to check if a dual sim phone can also have 2 different Whataps / Viber / Line / WeChat account
on the same phone at the same time?

Nissan Sentra Halfcut Engine - how much?

My car overheat again and this time, the foreman confirm that the engine gasket is KO. He say the engine cannot be serviced anymore because the inside is very thin and overhaul can only be made once for this model (It was Yr 2001 model).

Just want to check what is the price of a halfcut engine for this Sentra model?

My existing one is 1.5cc which is rare in Malaysia. If change halfcut, I am thinking to change to 1.6cc directly.. But how about the wiring etc. Do they fit with 1.6cc engine?

My another concern is if how to make sure that the potong engine is still in good condition since this model engine cannot go for overhaul? Matilah if change the engine then after 1 or 2 yrs it KO again. I might as well change for a Yr 2010 Saga which is more or less the same price.

I am wondering if anybody used this before? Today, I saw an offer for this smart phone for only RM 299. The spec sound like Galaxy Mini but I am just worried if it's difficult to get spare parts and service etc.

But the price is definitely very attractive since the spec is somewhat like Galaxy Mini.

Repeating Overheat inNissan Sentra XE Auto Yr 2001

I have recently bought a 2nd hand Sentra XE Auto Yr 2001. The car went overheat the first day I brought home. As I was buying it from outstation, I have no choice but to towed it to repair.

Well, it wasn't cheap, the foreman replace a new radiator (tangki?) and say it was original Sentra one and cost about RM 780.

Fine.. nothing happens after the repair, but after 3 months, the car went overheat again!!

As it was still under warranty, I sent it back to the same foreman. They checked everything and told me that nothing leaking and nothing to do with the radiator that they changed. They say it was because there were some tube stuck with stained, rusty water as I didn't check the coolant level and that I should check the coolant EVERY WEEK!

So, they just did some cleaning and refill with new coolant (red colour which they claimed to be good and expensive, durable coolant). Thereafter, I check the coolant every day and to my surprise in the 8th day, the coolant in the reserve tank went down half! IS THIS NORMAL?

What I do not understand is:
1) the radiator is new, is the rust that the foreman claimed normal?
2) and do I really need to check and add coolant every week? I have not added in any coolant for my Kenari for 2 years of driving and it never overheat.
3) Why is it that the coolant in the reserve tank dry up so quickly when the foreman say, no leaking was found?

I just do not know what the hell have I bought. Seriously, IS THIS NORMAL?

Nissan Sentra 1.5cc Yr 2001 - Spareparts

I've test drive a 2nd hand Nissan Sentra 1.5cc Yr 2001 today..

My concern is.. I have only seen 1.6 and 1.8cc..

I saw somewhere in the forum that Tan Chong only bring in one batch of 1.5cc Sentra.
So, is the spare parts / replacement for this 1.5 expensive / difficult to get?

Bought this second hand and drive for about 3 years now. Perhaps I don't know how to maintain a car.
Not sure how much it's going to cost to fix these problems..

Kindly be guided..

Changed the oil pump one month ago when I cannot start the car and the foreman said, the pump cannot pull up petrol..
Then, the car battery went dead yesterday, changed that as well. Already spent RM 420.

Now the big problems are:
The power steering oil is leaking. It all goes dry 2 weeks after it's filled up.

A closer look at the power steering pump..

The oil is everywhere even at the bonnet cover..

The foreman told me that is not the pump that leaks but the whole rack is leaking. And it cannot be repaired but to change the whole rack.

He said; good one is about RM 600+ and recon at about RM 200+ but he said recon no good and can tahan only about 1.5 years. Is that true? Once the rack is replaced then only can see if the pump also needs to be replaced. Now cannot see according to him. But the pump has part that can be replaced like seal etc. which doesn't need the whole thing to be replaced. How much is that gonna cost me?

The the engine bad. There are a lot of white smoke coming out even if I just stop at a traffic light. I once got scolded when I park outside a restaurant waiting for my friend outside. The hawker say the smoke was killing him
So, everytime I need to wait for someone in car, I usually turn off the engine..

My foreman said, change seal will not fix the problem. Top overhaul will not either but he suggest to do a full overhaul which cost about RM 1300+. Is there any other way? He say change engine (potong ~RM800) because nobody knows if the engine is still good. But if full overhaul, at least everything inside will be changed. That's what he told me. What do you think? Pls advise..

Then one thing very funny about the foreman.. I heard changing the gear oil will cost RM 300+ where all oil is drain with a machine and replaced with new oil but my foreman say it's not necessary. He just suck out some old oil and then top up new oil. He said, it will make it just as smooth without much hassle. But the cost is lesser lar. I think it's about RM 100+.

Then, the aircond also got problem. I forked out RM 1200 to fix it (changed the whole set) and now after 1.5 years.. it seems like if I parked the car under the sun and then start it, it will take very long to get cold. Must drive for a distance of about 10 minutes hor, then only it starts to get cold. Is that normal ar? I forgotten lor how it used to be.. But I am very scare to fix aircond. It will cost more than RM300+ each visit. Pls advise..

Then all four absorbers are spoiled. I didn't change it because of tight budget (spoiled since 1.5 yrs ago lor). My fren said, the car can still run ok but just very noisy and you know lar when drive in bumpy road. But I found that my front tyre getting botak very fast d. And that I changed the drive shaft twice. Is it because of the absorber ah? My foreman quoted me this price. Is this standard ah?

Rear pair: RM 50+ each
Front: RM 200+ each

Then the less important problems.. the LOOK...but also important lar. Last week my fren get married and ask me to be buddy.. you know lar..how can drive this car..

Can someone tell me how much it cost to spray the whole car ah? The colour is met. silver.
I was wondering if I can just spray all black on the front and back bonnet + the top. I think it will cost lesser but it's it ok with JPJ or not ah?

Then the driver seat lor.. I seldom use umbrella, so after so many rain water maybe.. it's now torn leh..
How much is it going to cost to change this ah? But my dilemma is, if I change the driver seat, then must change the other seats right. If not, then it will look ugly.

I roughly make an estimate on the repair cost...pls help to correct me as I guess the price only, some never check and advise if there's any other alternative (cheaper). Budget is tight. Or probably the main question... it's it still worth repairing as the car now cost less than RM 4k leh...

What worried me most is ..you know lar 18 years old car mah.. after repair all these then more problems emerge..
