Nexus One

Hi guys. I'm not really a handphone "expert" like some guys here, so I need some help. I just won a Nexus One phone, and am figuring out how to use it properly. How do I set up a certain mp3 to use as a ringtone? I can't seem to find any option on the phone. Also, how do I watch a video, transferred from my PC to the phone? Mucho thanks!

Condos in Kelana Jaya - a good investment?

Hi guys! I'd just to seek your opinions on whether investing in a Condo around the Kelana Jaya area would be a good idea (eg Kelana Puteri, D'aman Ria, Shang Villa, etc)
I'm looking to buy one and rent it out, with the view that it shd appreaciate in the next few years, what with the Kelana Jaya LRT extention line coming up and also the Paradigm being completed.
Would be most appreciative for any advice / feedback. Thanks!

PSU requirement

Hi all,

I have the following rig, that I mostly use for gaming:

E8400
Gigabyte mobo
4 pcs x 1Gb Kingston value ram
2 SATA HDDs
Gigabyte 8800GT
1 DRD-RW
Logitech MX-518 mouse
22 inch Samsung LCD

My old PSU, Acbel i-Power 450W, I think is on its last legs, so I'm shopping around for a PSU. Can you sifus out there recommend me one (budget about RM400-RM450)
I'm inclined towards Corsair's TX650W...read lots of good reviews about it . Thanks!

Problem with my display or pc?

Hi all,

First, my computer specs:

E8400 Core 2 Duo
2 x 2Gb RAM (Kingston value ram)
Gigabyte 8800GT graphics card (GV-NX88T512HP with Zalman fan)
Gigabyte motherboard EP35-DS3L
1 SATA HDD 350gb
1 E-IDE HDD 250gb
Samsung 22 inch LCD
450 Acbel I-Power (is this a "true power" psu?)
3 case fans
Vista 32 bit Home Premium, updated to SP2

I don't overclock my PC (although I 'think" that my graphics card is already "pre-overclocked" at the factory? I dont know)

I'm currently having 2 problems with my pc when I play a certain game (World War 2 Online: Battleground Europe). I can play the game for a random # of minutes b4 either the following problems appear:

1) The game hangs, I have to click "shutdown the program" and then get the dreaded "nvlddmkm: display driver not working etc" msg
2) If not, then game hangs, monitor goes blank, and the whole computer does not respond anymore. The PSU power is running, case fans all spinning, but no amount of pressing of the keyboard causes any reaction. LCD power button goes into blinking mode, and I have no choice but to reboot my pc

a) I am using the latest WHQL drivers from nvidia (i have tried all the last few WHQL drivers to be released) but to no avail.
b) have used Riva tuner to set my GPU fan speed to 100%, and believe that GPU tempearture is not to blame (GPU was only about 55 C when the problems occur
c) Am already using the latest Direct X drivers

I have no problems playing with all my other games (eg Crysis, Far Cry 2, WoW) but only with the above game I have this problem, so I guess the reason can't be due to my graphics card being spoilt?

Could it be insufficient power from my PSU? Is it true power? I did the psu calculation test on some website but it seems that 450W is sufficient for my setup. After all, my mobo, cpu and graphics card all seem to profess that they consume less power (according to what I read on the internet)

My last resort would be to reformat my HDD and reinstall everything again (which is really really tedious and I want to avoid LOL)
Any help from all you tech gurus out there would be most appreciated.

Is my PSU adequate?

Dear Gurus out there,

I'm planning to upgrade my PC, and am wondering if I can re-use my current PSU, which is an Acbel Intelligent Power Series 450W. My new intended system is as follows:

Intel Duo Core E8400
MSI P35 DS3L
4Gb DDR2 800 ram
450 Gb SATA 7200rpm hardisk
Nvidia 8800GT 512mb graphics card
1 DVD-RW
22 inch LCD wide screen monitor

If my PSU is not sufficient, can you please recommend some PSUs that would suit my need? I'd prefer 1 that would be more silent (eg 120mm fan)
