I don't really know if there is an existing thread for this company or not... Anyone has any news about this company? The share price seems to be going down... Is it profit taking? Or something bad is happening? It has dropped 15 cents so far today!

Hi! I am new to stock exchange. So, I would like to understand more about the meaning of the announcements made by companies. I would quote some of the announcements in this thread, and I greatly appreciate if any kind soul out there could interpret/explain it. Thank you.

Quotation:
"Kindly be advised that the abovementioned Companys additional 157,000 new
ordinary shares of RM1.00 each issued pursuant to the Scheme will be granted
listing and quotation with effect from 9.00 a.m., Friday, 29 October 2010."

Does this mean that there will be an additional of 157,000 new ordinary shares issued? Will this affect the Open Price of the company?

1) Can anyone explain to me the following quotation?

2) Besides, KFC share price opened as low as RM2.81 on 8/9/2010 whereas the closing price on 7/9/2010 was RM11.06. What causes the price to drop drastically and how did they determine the opening price for 8/9/2010? Is there a formula to calculate or announcement made on how much the opening price would be?
