My friends juz bought a new compaq presario C777TU notebook..but compaq didn't give the driver for XP..he manage to download all driver but only the sound system can't use..please help me

How to format ACER ASPIRE 4710?

I already bought a new acer laptop..ACER ASPIRE 4710. But i have a lot of problem. I try to format this laptop use windows XP professional CD but it can't..i change the SATA mode to IDE then i can install windows but its originally ACHI. After install the windows i try to change back to ACHI but can't...so how to solve this problem??can anybody teach me how to format ACER ASPIRE 4710..
