10 days outage of Maxis Home Fiber Internet

I have been using Maxis Home fiber for less than a month, so far it was working fine until Tuesday(14/08/2012), which the internet service down, and since then my worst experience with Maxis started. Please refer to the chronological event below for anyone that interested to signup Maxis Home Fiber Internet to have a reference.

14/08/2012
Noticed that I am unable to connect to the internet. Call Maxis Home Fiber support number 1800824663, and it took 18 minutes for the call to be pick up, and then the support staff took another 15 minutes to troubleshoot the problem. At the end, the support staff told me that I need to wait until next day for the engineer to check.

15/08/2012
Despite I called twice during the day to check the status of the problem, there is no one follow up on the issue, and I only received a call at night around 9pm to make a appointment to check the problem the next day at 10am.

16/08/2012
I am taking half day AL from work to stay at home to wait for Maxis engineer to call. At 1015am, Yunus from technical support called and guide me to troubleshoot the problem, with only 5 minutes of diagnosis, he said this is TM problem and Maxis unable to do anything but to wait for TM engineer to check. A problem report number was given to me

After I made the complain that Maxis is taking too long to resolved the problem, Joshua from technical support team called in the afternoon and assure me that he will assigned a technician from both Maxis and TM to help me to troubleshoot the problem tomorrow.

This problem is reported to MCMC.

17/08/2012
Taking another half day AL to wait at home for the technician to come, and only Maxis technician showed up. The technician told me that nothing he can do.

Called Joshua again, he giving the excuse that because it is near Hari Raya, TM unable to arrange the technician to come. He promised tomorrow will come to fix the problem at 11am.

18/08/2012
Waited at home since 11am, and only at 12pm Maxis technician showed up, again no TM technician around.

Tak from technical support team called and told me that TM unable to arrange the technician to drop by to troubleshoot the problem. Again he promised that next wednesday he will arrange Maxis and TM technician to come together next wednesday at 10am to fix the problem.

Taking another half day AL waiting at home for the engineer to come at 10am, nobody showed up at all. Try to call Joshua from technical support team through Maxis Home Fiber hotline, Nicholas from the same department called back, and telling me that the appointment is being rescheduled to tomorrow(23/08/2012). I made complain again why Maxis reschedule the appointment without inform me and I have waited for more than an hour.

At around 3pm, Joshua from technical support called back and again he is giving his assurance that tomorrow will get the problem fixed by both Maxis and TM technician

Once again taking half day AL to wait at home. Maxis and TM technician showed up at around 12pm, after struggle for nearly 3 hours, the problem finally rectified and the internet service is restored.
