Third Party Claim - Berjaya Sompo

After 40 years of driving this was my first accident where a car hit me from back. Both of μs immediately lodged a report and I also wrote to nsurance to notify them of the accident.

Problem started:-

1) since it was not my fault I asked my insurance company Etiqa to make third party claim against the driver.

2) Etiqa asked me to send the car to their panel.

3) At panel I said I wanted to claim against the driver but Panel asked to sign document and wait for police inverstigation report.

4) Since I need a car for my work, I said I will come again after police investigation report.

5) Meanwhile, I got a quote from my service centre.

6) However, police investigation report was delayed for a long time.

7) Decided to repair myself and waited for the police investigation report.

8) Finally, got the IR blaming the other driver 100%.

9) submitted the claim to Berjaya Sompo.

10) After two weeks claim was rejected saying documents insufficient.

11) emailed them and asked what document insufficient then told document missing from system and asked to submit again.

12) Now, they are asking all sort of document including statory declaration and adjuster report.

Problem is both insurance company didn’t send adjusters to check the car. they ask to send to,panel and panel won’t do a think unless we appoint them. Is this the standard practice of insurance company?

Anyone with similar experience?

Maxis SafeDevice free period rip off

Guys,

I am wondering whether anyone else got into paying for safedevice plan without notification?

I purchased a IPhone from Maxis under normal contract without safedevice plan. However, Maxis informed that I will be provided the plan for few months free of charge. It also reiterated that I will be informed before charging after the free period.

1) Contrary to their representation, Maxis started charging before the so called expiry of free coverage.

2) it was only after 4 months of charging they sent a SMS informing that the the plan will be renewed in next billing cycle which i informed to cancel.

The question is how can Maxis impose charges for a service which we do not want and started to impose charges without an agreement?

Anyone else faced this problem? Matter is before MCMC now.

DOS Attack related?

Hello,

Anyone got experience with warranty claim with Nokia windows phone. My Lumia 525 had some intermittent audio breaking after long use (via headphone). After identifying the cause which appears to be the break appears after phone becomes warm I proceeded to inform Nokia customer service (NKS).

NKS then advised me to pass the phone to their service center which I did to Mobile Technic Sdn Bhd. After about 2 weeks they returned the phone and asked to try out first. They also said it could be software issue. After trying out for about two weeks the problem persisted and I informed Nokia again.

This time they took the phone and after few days asked for the headset (which got nothing to do with the problem). Then on one weekend, Ms xxx called and asked more about the problem. After explaining they need to run it for a while they called again to confirm that they now hearing chirping sound. It was conveyed to them that the longer it run the problem becomes worse and they said they will let it run longer and try to identify.

It was almost 3 weeks, and the repair status still showed under repair. Then when we called they informed that the phone has now become unusable due to motherboard corruption. I think they might have left on for too long and fried the motherboard. Moreover, they cannot repair because they not trained to repair Windows8.1 phone yet.

To cut the long story short they ask to take back a phone which is not functioning and claiming they are not liable for the damage. Isnt it hard to believe??

Take note guys now whether you like it or not you have to read all your mms. Now Celcom is alleging that I subscribed to number from This WEBSITE. CLICK LINK . Now it is no stopping from anyone to key in anyone's number there and you give free money to Celcom and the Shradcomputing Sdn Bhd.

This is daylight robbery as I don't even open unknown numbers and delete the straight away. Not even sure if they still sending because the number is block in my phone. Either way I lose. pay RM5 for itemised bill. Or buta buta loose Rm4 every month.
