Laptop Keyboard Problem

I'm having the following problem with my Acer 4736 keyboard:
1. Several button on become hard to press ,the button "K", "L", "R", "T" and "Enter " are now hard to press
2. The button "E" is over-sensitive, one press equal to two presses.

I curious, it this even hardware problem or software problem?
Or is it because of the connection between the keyboard and the laptop?
Or too many dust inside the celah celah?
Or could it be the keyboard problem?

Anyone with similiar experience here?
Appreciate if you guid eme a little.

I partitioned my HHD into 3 partitions. One with win7, one for storage and i plan to use another one for linux (just wana try).

Which is the most suitable version for a newbie?
and how do i deal vf the dual boot stuff so that when my laptop starts up, it'll prompt a question asking me which OS i want to run?

Just bought a SATA HDD, partitioned into 4 partitions
Then install Window & in one of the partition.
When I restart, window 7 won't boot?

What did I miss out?

BTW, Window 7 can work without driver?

Laptop fan stop working...

My Dell Inspiron 1420 (3.5 years old) fan has stop working...
Now, the temperature can go up to 90 celsius and above.
But I managed to keep it at 50+- celsius for the time being by using stand fan directlycooling my laptop.

Anyone encounter similiar prob before?
How much if i wana fix it?
If it's like >RM200, I'd rather buy a cooler to do the fan job... It works right?

How do you track the title of an unknown song?

I always have problems with finding out the of the title of songs, especially the song i heard on radio.
Djs these days just like to mumbled through the title of the song they play on radio.

I know most of you can track the title of the song by using the "music track ID"softwarev in smartphone.
Unfortunately, i dun have it...

Here's a song tat is recorded from a party.
I've been looking for the title of the song for quite some times now.
But i still can't find it.
So i'm hoping someone here can help me out

iPod Classic earphone slot problem

I have aipod classic which i've used for years.

Recently the earphone slot is having some problem, possibly poor contact
Sometimes, the sound doesn't come out from left/right earphone.
I tried it on speakers, same thing happens, so i know it's not my earphonr problem.

I tried approaching store to fix it, but apparently no one can attend to it.
most of the reapir shop say they only do one to one exchange and my generation has been discontinued.

My question is, is this the end of my ipod. Can it be fixed?
it's just poor contatc on the earphone slot, it will be a pity to replcae it vf a new one...

Windows XP can't startup

Problem:

Whenever i start my laptop, it'll show a black screen (attached).
And whenever i choose ant option from the screen, it leads me to the window startup logo.
But that only last for 3 seconds, before it jump into a blue screen and start over from the black screen again.
In short, my window won't strat up properly.

I can still get to the BIOS and boot CD, so i suppose i can format my window with my window CD.
The thing is, i need to recover some important file from my desktop. How do it do so?

Question

1. Can i boot Linux OS from CD and retrieve the file into a pendrive?

2. Or is there any other way to fix this and recover my startup problem?

p/s: Attached is the screenshot of the black screen, tried every option listed, my window still can't start up.

Online purchased spectacles

I've recently bought a pair of spectacles online for less than a RM100 .
It's my 1st time buying a spec online though, I like it very much.

But the thing is, the spectacles comes with no prescripted lenses.
So, by buying it online, i'm commited to another trouble - finding a spec shop to replace the lenses.

my myopia isn't tat serious, -2.0 for both eyes， Astigmatism is around 50 for both.

I've been asking a few shops already, they obviously wana 'slash' me,
i'm getting RM80 to RM100 offer just to change the lense! My god!

Anyone who has similiar experience like to share theirs???
Or better still, any optometrist here would like to offer me better price?

Dell Inspiron 1420 Screen problem

Hi, my dell inspiron 1420 has been 2 years now.
I've been having this screen problem since half a year ago.
But i wasn't critical until lately.

The problem is, sometimes the screen colour goes wrong, black become red, red become black, white become blue, yellow become green...

It has to do with the hinge because everytime the situation happen, i move the hinge of the laptop.
And if i'm lucky, the problem solved. But lately it seems tat the problem r getting worse.

My suspision is that the wire within the hinge got lossen or something...

Anyone encounter the same problem before, or anyone know wat's going on?

If so, please tell...

Hi, was looking for freehold terrace and i came upon a double-storey terrace in the area mentioned above.
Price quite sheap so i'll like to dig more about the environment.

Heard about traffic condition and crime rate in cheras area from my frens.
so i'm a bit concern about the two factors.

I've not yet been to the place, so i hope anyone who's familiar with the area can provide me with some info.

Is the area safe? how's the traffic? Suitable for pensioners? any additional comment is much appreciated! =)
