Why people hog pumps after finishing?

What's the acceptable etiquette here? I get annoyed when drivers don't move right after finishing and take their own sweet time to make counter payment while their cars hog the pump and make others wait behind. I often find all pumps occupied and have to wait 5-10 mins in a busy gas station on PLUS and JB. Have to guess which car moves first.

Why can't the drivers move aside first before making their counter payment so that the pump is free to use?

Do you move immediately or move from the pump only after payment is made?

How can I lift a car?

I just bought a cheap Myvi 2005 and I am planning to drive it off road sometimes. I think 2WD is ok (no 4wd myvis anyway) but I am wondering what would be the best way to increase ground clearance?

In America, people add lift kits on the struts to lift their cars. Now I am not sure if I could find similar kits for Myvi?

Alternatively, maybe changing the coils would work? sorry please be gentle I am a total newbie when it comes to this.

Helping friend to hold shares

1) Will I be implicated if the source of income is illegal?

Rejected Trade Name by SSM (Sole Proprietorship)

Hi, so I'd been trying to register my sole proprietorship with SSM via EzBiz. But the application was rejected by the officer. because the trade name is considered to be too 'general'. I came up with a unique name somewhat similar to Pizza Hut, which is made up of two nouns. What followed was a series of exchanges between me and SSM for the past 2 days, trying to explain to them that my trade name is a unique combination.

So, I refer to Akta Perniagaan 1957 and Business Name Guidelines and there is no mention of trade name prohibition unless it is called "Beautiful Sdn Bhd" or "Attempt Sdn Bhd". The officer in-charge refused to approve my application without giving me any proper reason, claiming that it is their "SOP" to approve trade name with a personal name only.

I am really puzzled. If that's the case, how come companies like

Rice & Pasta
Nutrition Depot
City Teleshop and etc

*these are real business establishments obtained from searches in the SSM database.

can be registered while mine is rejected? I'd be grateful if someone can enlighten me on this matter. Thanks!

Shipping 40KG of Dry Food from US to Malaysia

Hi all, I intend to import 40KG worth of dried food (fruit & vegetable powders) from the US. I'd like to seek your help in understanding the shipping cost. On other websites, it appears to be around USD10/kg. Is this a reasonable price?

For starters, who should I turn to? Established couriers like DHL/UPS or other lesser known freight forwarders?

I enquired the Customs and were told that my goods will be charged 6% GST at the point of entry. Other than that, no import tariff, that is if I classify my goods under certain HS Code. My question is... who decides which HS Code to declare?

Estimate Renovation Cost of this Showhouse

Hi all, was told the below home costed RM260K to renovate. It is a show unit and the developer is selling of the unit at RM800K (RM180K more than a standard unit). We like it very much but not sure if it is overpriced. We are first time home buyers and would like to have your opinion to see if it will be more worthwhile to renovate a standard unit ourselves (with some modifications!) or to just get this unit to save all hassles. Weekend Car - Used BMW E60 523i 2007

Hi guys, I am contemplating to get a used E60 523i 2007.

So my current ride is an old Proton Satria 1.3 1996 (owned since 2009) and thinking of changing it. So far, the car has served me well, have not changed any major parts (other than an engine overhaul two years back which costs RM1000, and aircond compressors, around RM1,200, twice). As a result, when it comes to maintaining a car, I'm not very knowledgeable and fully dependent on mechanics.

Long story short, I saw this rare manual (6 Speed) BMW 523i ad on the internet going for RM84,000 (Mileage - 89K KM). Am contemplating whether I should buy it. I did some research online and found regular wear and tear parts of an E60 tend to be on the high side, but I suppose I'm willing to pay for that premium. I'm budgeting RM8K/year for maintenance since it is a weekend car (50KM per week, at most)

But I still have the following concerns and hope that gurus here can enlighten me.

1) the automatic gearbox of an E60 is prone to problems, but since I'm getting a manual I guess it should be easy to fix. However, given majority of E60s here are in automatic, it might be difficult to find someone who can fix it?

2) Active Steering and Dynamic Drive can be costly to repair. Any idea how much would they cost?

3) I haven't contact the owner so I have no idea what is the service records. What kind of information should I gather before I go down and test the car?

So.. decided to fully utilise my savings (hard earned money) to generate some decent returns (hopefully). made some research and found these high return US equities for the pass one year..

All these equities were sorted by their market capital value. So they are all established companies.

Established + High return.. Whats the catch? It just seems too good to be true.

knowing that our national language Malay is somewhat similar to Indonesian.. Have you interacted with an Indonesian before? Am not referring to Indonesians who have settled here for a while as they know how to communicate with us in Malay. do you face any problem when speaking our Malay to them? Can a malaysian easily communicate with an indonesian or vice versa?

I recently watched this video and to be honest I cannot understand 60% of what they say. How about you?

Hi guys, I'm wondering if you can help me on this.

My ipad2 has this annoying problem where it would constantly crash, when I'm using, showing a black apple with a loading bar on a blank white screen. The iPad would go back normal after the bar finishes loading for around 15 secs.

Can anyone help me get rid of this problem please? I've attached the screenshot of the loading screen. Am convinced that isn't related the jail broke as I faced this problem even before I jail broke. But if you guys think it is caused by that, then I wuould be very willing to perform a clean install.

Haven't tried updating to the latest software yet. Do you think I should?
