Dear sifus,

My car insurance is expiring on 30/5. Should I renew after 1/6 so I can save on the 6% GST?

If I renew on 1/6 (Expiry on 30/5), what is the consequences? Any penalty or late charges? Any effect on my NCD%?

How about Road Tax? If I renew it after the expiry for Road Tax, any penalty or consequences?

Pls advise. Thanks in advance.

GST for Prepaid in 2018?

Any sifu knows will there be any GST imposed on Prepaid Reload starting 2018?

or it's just like currently, inclusive in the Reload amount and rebate back?

Change Name of Electricity and Water Account

My father had passed away half year ago.

We just transferred our house and an office property's title to my mother's name. But the Electricity and water bill accounts for the 2 properties are still under my father's name.

The office property is now renting to a company as office, changing name can be a bit troublesome for the tenant and us.

I would like to ask, if any sifu can answer me:

Can we continue to use the same account without going to change name for those accounts? Including my house and the office property's electricity and water bills account?

If we do not change name of those account, will it affect us to get back the collateral deposit after many years later, if we are to sell off the properties?
