Interstate Travel Allowed? Good?

I noticed there are some people who are still not very keen on the opening of state borders kena bashed by majority.

Majority is saying "Eh, we locked up long enough. Mental stress. Bla bla bla."

I still think Covid is Far from over. But I don't understand the enthusiasm of these people to go travel as if full Vax means u r protected fully against Covid

What do you guys think?

Company management doing illegal stuffs?

Ok ppl, I need to ask sth serious.

My company management just verbally announced this:

"All annual leaves will be cut to 20% as per immediate effect. Any leaves taken excess of that 20% will be subject to a pay cut to replace or cutting of leave for next year."

Basically it means, 15 days of leave entitlement but 20% so left with 3 days. Any leave taken more than 3 days have to do compensation. Either cut salary or cut next year leave allocation.

BUT THE PROBLEM IS NOW IS OCTOBER! THEY SAID IT IS IMMEDIATE EFFECT WHICH MEANS 2021 LEAVES ALSO KENA.

I have about 20 days leave and I have taken about half de. Sure big time kelentong later.

The management said no email or memo will be issued as this is illegal but the heads and managers to talk to each employee personally.

How do I handle this?

Selangor PKPD will continue or no?

Ok tldr.

A new company offered me 30% more salary than previous job.
Quite reputable from my peers and seems like a good role with advancement from previous senior exec to now, Asst manager.

However, the company kinda 'indirectly conned' me into the job.

1.During the interview, they mentioned that since the mco 3.0, they did not cut any salary and paying full. The join date was put as 14th June 2021. I got the offer letter on 15th May 2021 and signed back to them the same date. However, today the HR sent me an email saying that they forgot to ask me to sign an agreement on paycut. I asked him why and he said that a Managerial role above has to go through this cut and it was 30%. In return, the official work hours is changed from 9am to 6pm to 10am to 4pm daily. I wasn't happy about it and pressured that this was not mentioned in the interview and I am just an AM not the real manager. The HR guy said it's the procedure and not sure why his ppl did not mention to me.

2. Apparently from my pursuit in no.1, I found out that the company has been doing a minor restructuring where they were removing positions of Asst Managers from the hierarchy. The HR guy told me that anybody holding AM positions or offered one will get a redesignation letter as a Manager with no salary adjustment and follow everything that is bound on Managers. (It was clearly mentioned to me in the interview that managers are managerial level, AMs are not). The restructuring happened this week and I am bound to it but the plan to restructure was there long even before my interview happened.

In this case, my current company is hoping I can stay on but I signed over the other side and the hr warned me strictly over trying to ffk them.

What should I do?

Counter-Offer came 1-2 weeks before last day

After serving notice for nearly 3 months and the new place waiting on me for about 2 months +, finally at the second last week of my notice the current company's senior manager is submitting a Counter Offer to the CEO.

Not a confirmed deal but the senior manager says it should work.

The counter offer includes:

1. Salary matched to new place

2. A new additional job role that is what I like doing.

3. Being immediately promoted to senior with extra title.

My concerns are:

1. Company not having enough customers.

2. Rumours were around saying there will be a paycut but the senior manager said it's false.

3. The company is just desperate for me to stay as they did not manage to find a replacement for me throughout 2 months+.

I know that I should not be thinking of staying BUT IF I ever thought of staying, what kind of obligations do I have with the new place? The new place already waited for me for about 2 months+ and I signed the letter before resigning.

What do you think tmr pm will announce?

You know when it comes to adulting, it's when a person realizes he or she needs to discard that young self and all to move in to more responsibility areas.

Friend has a wife that does not want to go through adulting.

Her behavior are:

1. 24/7 on phone playing games not bothered about the husband or the family well being.

2. Very afraid of having sex with husband as she scared to get preggo. Keep saying that she is scared she is not ready to accept the responsibility yet. (Her age is 32 this year and she is 5 years married to my friend). So my friend vegetarian for 2 years+ de.

His question to me is why is she so scared of adulting? She keeps mentioning that she is happy with her current life and does not want any changes in the near future.

Is there any problem with Maybank or Mastercard? I have been trying to pay stuffs from yesterday night but the merchant rejected all the time. Card got money but the merchant says Invalid Card Number.

I read an article on FB about a company asking the interviewee why is his previous job tenures only 2 to 3 years. The interviewer said that 2 to 3 years in 1 company is considered short. He is in his early 30s from what he ranted. He mentioned that in reality, nobody stays more than 3 years in a company at 20s to 30s but he felt that the interviewer unfairly judged him. According to the posting guy, the interviewer mentioned that it's only 5 years above is considered long.

Is that true? Still got people stay in 1 company for more than 5 years meh?

Pretty Chic that doesn't get attention... Exists?

I recently knew a girl. She looks good to most people but she has no friends. She literally got betrayed by her friends, betrayed by her colleagues all. Is it real or should I not believe the story? Kinda interested in her since I never met a Pretty Chic that doesn't get any attention.

I have a friend who has a steady gf. He said the gf is the steady and keeper type but lack the excitement he is looking for in a partner both mentally and sexually.

His ex, who is unhappily married is now seeing him back and the 2 meet up for dinner end with a lot of touchy touchy. His initial response was, if the ex wanted to get it on, he is ever willing but not because he still likes her but cause she is hawt he said.

He also stated that he very in love with his gf.

I told him to not meet up with the ex again but it seems his lil head is not agreeable.

I as a guy don't see a point in him maintaining his gf while poking other ppl wife. Are guys really that 'adventurous'?

Apply car loan, approved then rejected

Friend pinjam loan to buy car before sales tax exemption over.

Originally the car salesman called him say already approved and can go sign at bank.

On last Thursday he went to sign at the bank, the bank requested that he resubmit all documents and cannot sign the agreement.

Furious, he called the salesman to ask and after further digging, found out that the banker that was dealing with the salesman was suspected of falsifying documents for high risk borrowers so all approved applications under him have to resubmitted for reassessment.

Is there such a rule in the bank?

Marriage issue

Ok me and wife married for about 5 years. I am hitting mid 30s and she is stepping in the 30s this year.

After 5 years I finally felt that I want to have a child. At first wife was kinda hoping for a child but recently for the past 3 months, she is totally trying to avoid it. She told me a few things:

1. Her work deals with young children and she said she doesn't want to see 1 more devil at home after work.

2. Her work customers, the parents telling her that if she isn't ready, then dun give birth. She might regret it and reject the sudden change in lifestyle totally.

However I am suspecting something else as for the past 1.5 years she did not let me touch her. Yes, even simple groping of the front area she will push me away and say don't disturb her. She gave excuses like she feels like doing it in day time when we both are working but not at night

Most of the time she is stuck with her phone talking to some online friends I know nothing of that she knew from playing some weird online games. She is busier on the phone than any business tycoon.

This led me to believe she might be cheating on me. We had not had any intercourse for the past 3 years and it's hurting me so bad.

Is there anything i can do about it?

Some companies really cannot brain.....

OK, I have just received a very crazy issue.

I bought a laptop previously from ONE of popular brand agent shop.

The basic specs was RM2199 but I added an extra HDD (external) of 1TB that is about RM500.

When I bought it, it was supposed to be delivered using Ninja Van as the stock of the laptop ran out.

I bought at the shop not online and when I paid, I didn't realise the staff did not put the RM500 HDD in the bill, was kinda rushing too (not intentionally cheating).

As I wanted it delivered to my parents home at outstation, I asked for delivery and they used Ninja Van to do it.

I paid and ordered on early April and I received the items mid of April. I was happily using everything back then.

Today, the agent parent shop called me and demanded me to pay back the RM500 for the HDD that they forgot to bill as they realise they had a delivery order vs invoice mismatch and found it was mine.

I checked back the invoice (luckily still kept it) and yes, they forgot to bill the RM500. They demanded in a very rough way when I said I don't like it that they call me back after 1 month+ and demand me to pay for something they have forgotten.

I demanded that the staff in charge be responsible in this as well (which normally the staff should) but they said that the staff is on contract and they decided to fire him once they found this case. No answer as to whether the staff is liable in this case.

They also threatened to call the police if I refuse to pay for it.

Question is why some companies force staffs to be responsible and why some companies force customers to be responsible?

Can dash cam help in this situation?

You come out from a simpang to a main road with speed limit. You see no car coming so you go out but got one car chiong at 100kmph and you couldn't fully avoid and kena your side mirror. She comes down telling you that she is totally right and that straight road always right no matter what. The speed limit for the main road only 80kmph if not mistaken.

If got dash cam at the point of accident can fight or not?

University lecture dillema

Ok... I am teaching in a medium scale Uni College. The issue here is I taught multitude of programmes from Certificate to Degree for a certain subject. Recently, a new hire has arrived and she is also my field. She took on some of the subjects that were direct continuation of mine from the last lecturer who left. She ain't doing a good job and the students are making complaints about her. To make things worse, the complaint went to the Programme Coordinator whom is good friends with the new hire and asks the students to give her a chance and trying to brush her off.

Some of the students who are closer to me due to previous encounters have found me for help though I am stuck in the middle:

1. If I help them too much, the new hire will feel that I am overstepping on her territory and not respecting her.

2. If I don't help, I feel that I am letting down a group of students and I am playing with their future and it doesn't feel right as a human abs educator.

What should I do?

Here's how the story goes.

My cousin (shorten it) was a secondary school teacher and also a private tuition tutor. He was asked to teach his cousin (well not related to me) at that time (3 years ago) when she was doing her SPM. He was the class teacher or something for that cousin (girl) too at that time and taught one subject. Back during weekends and off school hours, the guy, let's call him Z will be giving her tuition. The girl let's call her T, took her SPM and passed out form 5. On the night of her last paper, T got drunk and the friends didn't know who to call as T kept saying do not call her parents. They saw Z's number and messages appearing quite frequently so they called him. Z came to pick her up and T insisted not to go home. Z brought her to his house (he was living alone at that time) and thought of maybe sending her home the next morning.

When she was at his place, Z started noticing how pretty and sexy (because of her party clothes) and he was aroused (normal guy at 27 years old without a girlfriend). T was high as well and they ended up having a very long kiss until Z pushes her away feeling it's wrong as she is his student.

After that night, Z stopped contact with her totally and did not even go to meet the mother which was his aunty for like 3 years. Recently, Z found a job at a college tutoring Basic English for Diploma and Degree courses and to his surprise, T was among the students there. Z tried to avoid any contact with T but eventually they hit it off one day after T insisted that for old times sake and bringing her back that time, she wanna belanja him makan. Thus, the sparks flew and they kept this 'forbidden relationship' for like 5 months now.

Why I say forbidden is because last week, Z was seen going out with T dating and romantically eating by T's mother. T's mother became very unhappy and called Z's mom to ask Z to stop going out with T. T's mother and father felt that as a tutor who once taught T, Z should not be doing this and it goes again the family principles to date cousins. Z and T have families who believe that dating among cousins or marriage among cousins will destroy genetics when giving birth to the next generation.

Because of this, T ran away from her parents and is now staying over at Z's place. Although Z has the financial capability to support both of them, Z doesn't wanna see both families fighting off and breaking apart because of this. At the same time, he feels that he cannot leave T alone as T is deeply in love with him and vice versa.

So are there any other ways that Z and T is able to solve this problem? Z was thinking of eloping but T still has 1 year to go to finish her Degree.
