Hello guys,

Recently I experienced this situations, when i posted my sale in other online selling portal, some dudes will PM saying interested to buy. But after agreed to deal, they will say i need to do postage because they are out of town/country and they will bank in money to me includes the postage fee. Then they will ask for my banking details.

From there, i normally stop and ignore them. I have 3-5 similar occasions like this recently. Because i never continue, so i wonder what happen if i further deal with them? Anyone ever experienced this?

Well, in this situation, I'm the one selling, normally the buyer having more potential risks than the seller, right? Because the buyer need to bank in money first then only seller will post

In this situation, if they are really scammer (which i think they most probably are) i wonder what is their tactics next to swindle me? I normally stop at the stage after they told me they are out of town and need me to post, and they ask for my bank acc no. Anyone go further than that? Is giving a bank account number to someone can be risky? Just the number?

Hope anyone can share their experiences and advice

So far, dealing in LYN is still one of the safest option for me. Thanks to dedicated LYN admin and mods for keeping this forum the best.
