Laptop sometime no display, sometime got display.

hello
i got 2 laptop and got problem
hope u guy can help me. please

1.
i wonder what is the problem for my laptop. can u guy help me???
last time my laptop cant use coz no display ( blank screen ) when i on the laptop
now when i check back, i try on he laptop suddenly it have display.
i think around 6 month i never on the laptop coz i thought it got problem.
then when i think i want to send and repair it, it can use.
so how can i know the problem my laptop

another 1 is acer 4920. when i check the laptop. it got power but i think it not running coz i open the below casing ( the 1 that have ram and harddisk) i saw the fan is not running when i on the laptop. but it have light a the power button, rewind, fastforward button and other.
