Mandatory Engine Oil with SIRIM certification

When the above requirement comes into effect, i guess we will be forced to purchase more expensive engive oil distributed my Malaysia local dealer.

Shopee reseller may not be allow to import engine oils from other countries.

I personally don't think it will solve the fake oil issues since fake oil makers can just reprint their label to include SIRIM logo.

PMX Have Grudge Against the Rich?

I sometimes feel this PMX have lots of grudge against the rich.. Keep thinking ways to tax them left, right centre, top and bottom.

Even food such as avocado and salmon will be taxed more soon.

This rich segment has helped the government tremendously as they paid the most tax as in:

1. income tax
2. car tax as when buying Mercedes or BMW.
3. SST when they consume lavish food.

Yet, the rich are not treated equally by taking away their rights as a Malaysian to enjoy subsidies.

It is like a double whammy, paid lots in taxes but get nothing in return.

I went to Starling mall yesterday and noticed many patrons are at MIXUE kiosk.

TEALIVE kiosk was totally empty but ZUS still can tahan with few customers.

Recently, Intact outdoor water filter price is quite attractive and is selling at around 999.

Nesh on the other hand, cost around 2000 - 2500.

Was wondering if Intact outdoor water filter is decent enough to filter water as compared to Nesh?

Recently MRT has came out with an idea to allocate 1/3 of the MRT coach specially for woman.

Was wondering can RapidKL do such a thing? Wouldn't this violates the men's right to get equal treatment in using the public transportation? If a man insist on boarding the woman coach, do police have the rights to take action on a person who is merely using public transportation?

Their argument is to protect woman from sex fiends in the coach but based on my experience riding the train for years.. I've not seen such cases. There might have occurred but the number should be negligible.

If the want to implement these sort of things, they should do 1 coach for men, 1 for woman and another 1 for unisex.. 😆

EV vs Hybrid

Currently the automotive industry is at a cross road in which to adopt to power the future generations of vehicles.

Electric vehicle (EV) or hybrid (engine + electric motor with battery).

IMHO, the future in no doubt hybrid. EV is just a stop gap measure as it will be impossible to power all vehicles on earth with EV due to the raw materials needed like lithium, graphite, cobalt, and manganese.

Hybrid future looks a lot brighter with the existence of synthetic fuel. This man made fuel is currently available but cost is still prohibitive now.

In addition, with the adoption of synthetic fuel in Formula 1 from 2026 onwards, it will be a matter of time before synthetic fuel is made available to the masses.

Just imagine with synthetic fuel, existing cars can run on it, not to mention the classic cars and supercars, these cars will not be rendered obsolete with the availability of synthetic fuel.

Kereta Cucuk & Flashing Light

I wonder why drivers these day are so impatient.

It was only 6:20 a.m., no traffic jam and I met 2 drivers who is like driving as though they are rushing to hell.

I was driving around 60km/h on a 2 lane housing area road and 1 bugger cucuk me to tell me that I am driving slow. To me, going 60 nearby a school area is for safety reason. After that, I kept left and let him overtake but in just another 50m away, he turned left into a junction. What's the point of overtaking on the right lane when you're going to turn left just few meters ahead?

Then came another driver.. After traffic light, was gaining speed from stand still with a few cars ahead. This bugger cucuk and flash light me but I cannot speed up since in front have a few cars going the exact same speed as me. Then he overtook on the left lane and turn into a junction. My thoughts was, since you are turning into a junction already, why want to speed up and overtake?

Morning drive thought of drive santai santai, but on the road, there are so many maniacs around which doesn't know about road ethics.

Weird part is, these 2 drivers are driving MPV, a Alphard and a Serena. Are most MPV drivers drive like a prick?

KWSP 4.0 Withdrawal

I've been watching TikTok everyday and there's bound to be a video from NGOs & ummahs who kept pestering the government or PMX to approval the KWSP 4.0 (so called another one off) withdrawal.

Already given them the green light to withdraw from KWSP for the past 3 times and yet they are pushing for 4th round.

It is like a never ending withdrawal and they want to use every sen that is residing in their KWSP account.

Even with the emergence of youtuber called Financial Faiz still cannot educate them on the importance of retirement funds and the power of compounding?

Meeting Car Insurance Adjuster

Claims have all been settle and I lost my NCD.

Today, after a few months, the adjuster wanted to meet me to know more about the accident.

Is it a wise idea to meet up with him and give him the details?

It came to my mind that grille ahould be installed first as it is heavy item.. If install later, the installation works might damage other items like kitchen cabinet, wardrobe if the installer is not careful.
