            <title>Upcoming: GAMUDA &amp;#39;New Suburbia&amp;#39;</title>

            <description>In a bid to expand its land-bank, Gamuda Bhd has proposed to fork out RM784mil in cash to acquire a company that owns a 619ha leasehold land.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The land is currently classified as agricultural land with lease tenure expiring on 6 October 2093.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The land is located right next to Expressway Lingkaran Tengah (ELITE Highway) between Km 24.0 and Km 26.4.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The land is envisaged to be developed into a ‘New Suburbia’ – a contemporary comprehensive township to meet the ever dynamic market demands by tapping into the great prospects of the burgeoning market in Klang Valley.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img src='http://photos.wikimapia.org/p/00/04/29/89/50_full.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The land is strategically located across the ELITE Highway from Selangor Science Park 2 (SSP2).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The land development value would be worth a lot more if Gamuda can secure toll-free access via SSP2 to: (1) Cyberjaya, (2) MEX Highway, and (3) Puchong.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(Note: SSP2 belongs to PKNS which in turn is owned by the state government of Selangor)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The land also shares its southern boundary with Paya Indah Wetlands Park.             <description>&lt;img src='http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5299/5491819996_30c7ce68b2_b.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Board of Directors of SP Setia wishes to announce that on 2 March 2011, Setia Eco Villa Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of SP Setia, has entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with Cyberview Sdn Bhd and Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd for the proposed purchase of a piece of freehold land within the Cyberjaya Flagship Zone measuring approximately 268.11 acres for a purchase consideration of RM420,439,377.60 or RM36 per square foot.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Setia Eco Villa Sdn Bhd proposes to undertake a mid to high-end gated and guarded development (to be known as SETIA ECO GLADES) comprising mainly semi-detached homes, bungalows and commercial developments on the land. Based on the preliminary feasibility study and layout plan, which is subject to the approval of the relevant authorities, the proposed development is expected to have an estimated gross development value of approximately RM3 billion.
