Choong Wei gets marry

WORLD No. 1 shuttler Lee Chong Wei (pic) is getting married to former top women's singles player Wong Mew Choo in a grand ceremony expected to be held in Genting Highlands next year.

Chong Wei's father Lee Ah Chai told China Press that the duo were planning to settle down after 11 years of courtship.

Lee said they were likely to choose a suitable date for their big day after the London Olympics.

Interviewed at his home in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Lee said 29-year-old Chong Wei, the youngest among four siblings, would be the last to settle down.

Chong Wei and Mew Choo, however, denied the report and refused to comment further.

Mew Choo, 28, is now a coach at the Bukit Jalil Sports School after she quit competitive badminton in April.

Eh,so surprise eh. I tot they broke up ady but in love back and get marry somemore next year in genting.lolz. I think choong wei needs love support so he can be the 1st ever malaysian to get a gold medal in olympic games.

Actually what has happened at this morning match MU vs Arsenal? I just searched the score, WTF it's 8-2. Stupid ever eh. I think even if MU vs Wolve also cant get such score. Stupid ah. Simply let MU top of the table easily if not is MC who are top. I really hope arsenal get relegated this season if not they wun insaf n sack arsene wenger. Everygame also got red card.zzzz

Japan PM resigns amid public dismay

Prime Minister Naoto Kan announced Friday he was resigning after almost 15 months in office amid plunging approval ratings over his government's handling of the tsunami disaster and nuclear crisis.

In a nationally televised speech, Kan said he was stepping down as chief of the ruling Democratic Party of Japan, effectively ending his tenure as leader of the country. The decision was widely expected because in June, Kan had promised to quit once lawmakers passed three key pieces of legislation. The final two bills cleared the parliament earlier Friday.

The Democrats will vote Monday for a new leader, who will almost certainly become Japan's next prime minister - the sixth since 2006.

Former Foreign Minister Seiji Maehara is viewed as the front-runner to replace him. Finance Minister Yoshihiko Noda and Trade Minister Banri Kaieda are also viewed as contenders.

Looking back on his year and three months in office, Kan said he did all he could given difficulties he faced, including the disasters and a major election defeat in upper house elections last summer that left the parliament in gridlock.

"Under the severe circumstanrces, I feel I've done everything that I had to do," he said. "Now I would like to see you choose someone respectable as a new prime ministe."

The 64-year-old Kan has seen his approval ratings tumble amid a perceived lack of leadership after the March 11 earthquake and tsunami and subsequent nuclear crisis. Survivors complain about slow recovery efforts, and radiation from the crippled Fukushima Dai-ichi plant has spread into the air, water and food supply.

Political infighting between the ruling and opposition parties also have discouraged the public. Recent polls show that his public support has fallen under 20 percent.

Japan's new leader will take over a heavy load of tasks: rebuildling the country from the triple disasters, tackling a surging yen that is undermining the export-led economy and mapping out a new energy policy that is less reliant to nuclear power.

Kan's successor will also need to restore confidence in Japan's alliance with the U.S. Tokyo recently canceled Kan's U.S. visit for talks with President Barack Obama, expected in early September, due to the political uncertainty.

Doctor found murdered with head decapitated

"BENTONG: A doctor was brutally murdered and his head decapitated at a farm here.

Dr Harjit Singh, 61, was found dead inside a hut in his farm in Kg Sertik at about 8pm on Tuesday.

A 31-year-old man, said to be a farm helper, has been arrested to assist in investigations.

Dr Harjit is the brother-in-law of Kuala Lumpur deputy police chief SAC Datuk Amar Singh.

Bentong acting OCPD Deputy Supt Mohd Mansor Mohd Nor said when police reached the scene at 11.30pm they found Dr Harjit's head on a chair beside his body.

Pahang CID chief SAC T. Narenasegaran said Dr Harjit was a contract doctor at a prison here.

Police found a machete at the scene which was believed to have been used by the suspect to chop off the head, said SAC Narenasegaran."

People nowadays so cruel and dares to do anything they want. Hope can catch the culprit and sentence to death.

Watching the semifinal now world championship. Datuk asked chen jin to shut up and dun bising so much coz chen jin unhappy the line judger.lolz.
I realise chen jin reli a stubborn person. He really believes that he can beat lcw.haha..even the commentators said he is a stubborn person,and lcw should keep attack until he angry.hehe

Just got a gathering recently. My classmate age 25 la just finished his actuarial science degree in UM la. He said before this worked in KL maybank. Maybank offered him 7-8k per month as manager wor but he said too less. Singapore now offered him SGD 5k per month. So now he is in SG working now. I personally do not know la whether is it he is showing off or what la. But i dont believe a fresh graduate can get so much salary. Or maybe he is that special 1? lolz

I am getting sick of the country. How come they so love to abuse of power, bribery and so on. Just look at the recent case that Datuk M accused the men is anuar. I think even a stupid knows it's was a set up by a person. Many people in the country willing to do evil stuff because of money and forgotten their nature conscience.

And also before this a bank illegally freeze my friend's money with ridiculous reason. The authority and the gomen did not even take immediate action to arrest the culprit and return the money but helping back the boss somemore. Because the boss is rich.zzz

I really hope the country will sooner have a great kind hearted leader that really serves for the rakyat and wont greed of money and help the poor. God Bless.
