Let the court of public opinion decide

First off, sincerely apologize if this is under the wrong forum. Please move it where appicable, thanks mods. Presenting the facts here, let others be wary of these people.

Shop Name: Unknown. Located at 1st Floor, Sg Wang. Facing the escalators. Usually manned by Stanley(an indian guy), and 2 middle aged women.
Item Purchased: PSP, crystal case, red foam/rubber case, etc. See receipt below.

Here are the facts:-

- Purchased the lot on 02nd July 2008.
- Used the crystal case from day one, also the red foam/rubber case. Purchased as reccommended by Stanley
- Rarely used, once a month or so
- In the last week, the charger died. So in order to eliminate a case of bad connections, removed the crystal case.
- Found out there was scratches and damage to the PSP UMD cover!!!
- Investigated, and turns out the foam/rubber case was crushing the crystal case, which in turn scratched the PSP.
- Took it to the shop today(3rd December) to see what they can do about it
- Stanley instantly gets defensive, saying things like car is sold as is, not come back 6 months later to report damaged goods
- Stanley also says its the users fault for not taking care or noticing it
- Refuses to budge an inch saying its not the shops fault because they just sell things
- Got so disappointed in them, told them to keep the foam/rubber case and gave up.

Should I have:-

- Check the condition of my PSP every other day? If using his egsample of a car, I presume everything to work fine, and I will not certainly look under the hood each day I get to work.
- Created a shouting match so everyone would know what an unethical person he is? He did not even offer to see how he can work things out for me. Just keep going on and on how its not his fault, even he reccommended both the crystal case and the foam/rubber case together.

My personal opinion, stay the heck away from that shop. Spread the word.

Here are the pictures:-

The receipt.

The PSP with the crystal case. You can see the scratches, but easily mistaken for scratches on the case itself.

PSP with crystal case open. So heartbreaking to see it damaged when it was in good care since day 1.

Reccomendations for Gaming/HTPC

Hi guys!

Basically a not so noob here, but not a hardcore overclocker. Low temperature preferred as the room does not have airconditioning.

Hope you can reccommend or suggest improvements on the below:-

Budget: RM4500

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
- Cheapast of the Quads!

Motherboard
- Really need help here, can't seem to pick out what's the right one.

8GB Corsair XMS2 6400 C4DHX D2 x2
- Definately going D2, D3's too expensive. But should I get performance RAM?Cause I don't know/think I'm going to OC it. Want to max out the RAM capacity of the M/B.

Sapphire Toxic HD4850

Western Digital 16MB 500GB

Creative Xtreme Gamer

19" LCD Samsung 931BW
- Prefer a widescreen one

Xigmatek 1293(I Think) CPU Cooler

Thinking of getting Drive Bay coolers, and a PCI Slot Cooler

DVDRW

Logitech G7 Mouse

Questions
- What sort of PSU should I get? Hope 500w is enough.Might upgrade to a better CPU later.
- I've 2 old PATA hard drives, 320GB and 200GB can this be installed here? or do I have to sacrifice the IDE connection to the DVDRW?
- Intend to add a secondary display of 15" LCD. Is there such a thing as triple displays? As I want to connect the display to the TV as well(old type, the one with the yellow video in socket)

Thanks and appreciate the input!
