Hi,

I have a connection work like this.

(A) ADSL-MARITIME-W3400V6 - Router
(B) Asus RTN12 - Access Point

DSL --- Router A --- Access Point B

PC1 is connected to Router A (Wired)
PC2 is connected to Router A (Wireless)

PC1 is connected with no problem.
PC2 is connected can get its IP through the router DHCP but it says "No Internet Access"

When I use PC1 to ping the router, it's OK and no problem at all.
When I use PC2 to ping the router, 99.9% of the ping are timed out, maybe only 1 out of 100 replied.

When I use PC1 to ping PC2, it's OK and no problem.
When I use PC2 to ping PC1, it's OK and no problem too.

When I open up "Network" in PC2, I can see all connected device.

I tried to connect PC2 to Access Point B which I usually use whenever I'm in my bedroom, but doesn't help, same problem.
I tried to disconnect Access Point B from Router A, and then let my PC2 connect to Router A, also not working.

I tried to soft reset Router A using the web UI and configured everything back, same problem.
I tried to hard reset Router A using the reset button at the back of the router, same problem.

I tried using another PC and even smartphone to connect to Router A and Access Point B, both not working.

One odd thing I have noticed is that the LAN and WiFi LED lights on both the router and access point blink very fast even I am sure that no one is using the connection or at least using it heavily from that particular LAN or WiFi.
I know it is normal for it to blinks even if no one is using, but just not that fast, as if someone is downloading some files or so.

If it is only happen to the router, I may have considered it faulty but this problem happen to both router and access point at the same time - all LAN and WiFi LED blink very fast suddenly. So I thought it might be some frequency interference so I tried every channel, with or without the access point switched on, still the same problem.

Anyone having the same issue or has idea what is happening?

call from a weird number

I got this call like 3 or 4 times a day, continuously, from a same number, a weird number: 06287849419117
after i answer the call, i hear someone saying something ..
sounds like a kid, sounds like a girl, sounds like she is saying "hello", but obviously she is not saying hello

quite annoying i got waked up by this call before sunrise and some time after sunset ..
anyone has any idea where the call is made from and what is happening?

one month ago we bought 4 turtles
first one was dead 2 weeks ago
second one dead followed by the same symptoms
third one is having almost the same symptoms i believe
the forth one was dam healthy like a boss until now

the third one is having softened shell, something looks like grew on the skin etc
weakened, looks like hardly it can breathe
doesn't want to move, hardly ever consume food

we bought water conditional, changed water once every or two days
but for one week, the condition just seems to be worsen
anyone has any idea how to help this poor little creature?

False Fire Alarm

hello guys, i have a condition here, where the condominium i am staying at right now, have some issues that i believe to be an issues

1. (false) fire alarm keep on trigger, at least once a month, and worst case, triggered in the midnight when everyone were sleeping

2. ceiling lights in fire staircase area is burnt, and not fixed within 24 hours after an official complaint is lodged to management (actually have been 2 weeks now and is still spoiled)

3. emergency lights in fire escape routes are missing, meanings that 3 consequent floors will be a total black during electrical blackout

4. FIRE EMERGENCY LIFT is not working during normal power blackout

so, does anyone know which department should i call if management doesn't respond to the events i have complained?

i am trying to forward port 80 and i end up got this ..

i know DMZ helps but it just add a whole list of rubbish into the actual port forwarding list ..
but where is this remote thing that i can delete? anyone on DLink DSL-2750U ??

(problem 2)

i have a dynamic IP, e.g., something.no-ip.org and yes i can access this address from external network
from internal network i will need to use 192.168.x.x

any idea how could i access from both in and outside the network using the same something.no-ip.org
is it reverse NAT and if so, possible to configure in DSL-2750U ??
of there's other way to do it ??

X2000 unexpectedly slow when many device connected

recently i've bought a Cisco Linksys X2000 and i am having this problem ever since i change my modem
(that makes me feel like the modem TM gave me is better than this X2000)

when too many WiFi devices kick in, i.e. around 5 to 6 laptops and 2 smartphones connected to this router, the ping gone from 60ms to 3000~4000ms
what i have tested is, none of the laptops or smartphones are using any heavy traffic applications, it seems like the router just can't handle that much of clients at a time (or at least that's what i feel)

i have upgraded the firmware to latest version i can find on cisco's website,
tried to change the channel frequency,
manually fixed the channel width,
still no help ..

does anyone have any idea the problem is and solution to this?

Tecom 800 "USUAL" linking

i got one Tecom 800 UPS here and it has 3 LED light - USUAL, BATTERY, and UNUSUAL

after few hours of usage, the USUAL lamp keep on blinking, and for a while, back to stable, and blinking again, and repeat...
does anyone know why is this? tq

Dual WAN IP ?

my cousin (Streamyx user) house recently installed a surveillance system but we failed to access it (and basically anything behind her router)

i have port forwarded them correctly (yes, i am very sure about this because the same modem worked at my house but not her house)

i suspected a problem but don't know what it is exactly you guys call it and do not know whether this has something to do with the package that i take so hopefully someone that ACTUALLY KNOW something about this can teach me

the PPPoE, which is the WAN IP shown in my modem UI and the external IP shown at sites such as canyouseeme.org is different.. can someone tell me why is this ??

the IP shown in the modem UI starts with 10.x.x.x
the IP shown in canyouseeme.org starts with 175.x.x.x

addin: the same modem, come back to my house, everything works fine, no problem with IP. when i get to her house, two different IP on modem and canyouseeme.org
