Those with Inovar Floor...

Hi,

I understand Inovar laminated floors comes with some warranty such as lifetime termite etc.
Those of you who installed this at your house, does the warranty come in a piece of card or anything?
Otherwise if you have to claim for warranty one day how do you do it without any black and white?

We're planning to get this floor, but since we're getting the contractor to do it I'm not sure how the warranty goes.
How do I even know they installed Inovar floors at my house and should I ask for a warranty card or something at the end?

Thanks in advance.

toilet renovation

hi all,

i wanna ask for opinions regarding a small toilet renovation - whether price reasonable or not. my parents got quoted almost 9k for it. i don't know whether i should list out all, but here are the major ones:

install new piping work c/w floor outlet pipe - 950
supply & install new floor pipe line at toilet c/w install of toilet bowl - 1250
supply & install plaster ceiling & cones (4' x 7') - 450
supply & install wall tiling (152 sq ft) - 1450
supply & install floor tiling (4' x 7') - 336
shower screen 4' x 6' - 980
supply & install new piping work and install water heater c/w wiring work - 860
painting - 360

honestly i can't really figure out how this works. i asked abt buying own supplies n look around for toilet bowl price n all n told my mum abt it to cut cost as much as possible, but the contractor said if we buy our own they wont be responsible afterwards if anything happens for things like water heater etc. my parents still want to do renovation for other part of the house, so if this price is reasonable i guess we could proceed with this contractor. is this quotation reasonable?

thank you in advance.

Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains

Hello guys...
just hoping for some opinion from more experienced people...

my company recently asked me to learn Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
I have never heard of it before, but have looked around and heard its like another ERP system.
I can only find out more once i get my hands on it.

what i would like to noe is, is it widely used, and is the certification worth it?

A 2006 post in this forum before wished he had taken SAP certification instead, but does this still apply now in 2008?

I would like to think it as a step ahead in my career path, but sometimes when nobody/barely anyone is using it sumtimes potential employers won't even look at this skill.

Appreciate all comments.
[WTA] viva production year

sorry if i post this at the wrong forum...

but i'm planning on getting a new viva premium soon, and read that its best if i get a 2008 production/manufactured car..i have raised this question to a fren who is helping me ask around about the car..and he said the SA say that one can be arranged - as in later register den can just put as 2008. i was like..."eh isnt tt cheating?" my fren said "in business evryone cheat"

i also raised this question because they say premium one tak laku so most probably they keep old stock as i can see at their storage there alot of viva.

1) is this true? even if the car is manufactured in 2007, put as 2008 also can?

2) how do i find out the real manufactured year? - i read other thread says its in the registration card - are we allowed to see this before we buy the car?

i find this alil bit confusing, as i tink this matters because the older the car is, the more it depreciates.

please guide me as i am really clueless about all this.

i scared later when i book already and pay downpayment they say only 2007 manufactured car available and i die die have to take..

Hello i'm not sure where to post this, hope i'm in the right section.

Would like to ask the opinion of the more expert people around here about this old axim x3 that i barely used.
Due to limited budget, instead of getting a fone with wi-fi in it, i thought i could just get a sd wi-fi card for this axim x3, and use the wireless at my home.
This is so that i no need to wrestle with my family members to use the computer or laptop, and the main website i'm gona use is websms to an overseas telco and probably msn.

However, i went to this IT mall in kuching(we have like only one ) and it seems like no shop is selling the sd wi-fi card.
is this card barely used nowadays?
does anyone noe how much is it now(brand new)?
i only see online (overseas) selling it like 40 USD etc..
and i think i saw ard garage sales about rm200?
but heard ppl say b4 cards like this if need to mail, better dont. den how to buy online loh.

I read the previous threads saying this card is not stable..how true is this?

oh ya, another question is is there any difference between sd wi-fi card and sdio wi-fi card?

other than this sd wi-fi card, is there any other way i can have a wireless connection using the axim x3?

thanx in advance, for any opinions that can help.
