Hey guys, Sorry if anyone has opened a similar thread just before, but the Kopitiam lounge threads move pretty quick and I'm short of time!

Anyway, I'm looking for a good place to have Buka Puasa buffet for a gang of 10-15 me thinks. Its a multi-racial crowd so I'm hoping for a good mix of food items. Any information on discounts via specific credit cards would be most welcome! Just name me the joints of where you've dined on sumptuous food this Ramadhan and I will be most grateful!

Some of the places I've shortlisted are:

1) Eastin Hotel

2) PJ Hilton

3) One World Hotel

4) Prince Hotel

Plus, if you guys have pictures, once again, I'd be most grateful

Football's Most Shocking Injuries

Unfortunately, in the game today, whether intentional or not, players are on the receiving end of bad tackles and wayward physical contact. I'd like to believe that there are minimal malicious intent in at least the greater amount of games thats being played today. Instead of focussing on the perpetrators, I think its good if we could reflect on the injuries sustained by some of these great players and also feel for them in their trying times.

Sounds like i'm mourning right? The reason I thought I could start this thread was because I watched the Bilbao Vs Getafe replay abit ago, and Yeste (Bilbao) had a head on collission with Getafe's keeper, and the beauty was he immediately got up, but it was evident that something had gone wrong, and the panic could be seen in the eyes of ALL the players on the field.

I not only feel for them, but also am inspired by their courageous comebacks, and it doesnt matter which flag and banner ur from, get in touch with that human side of yours and provide your insight on some of the worst tackles you've seen and how you felt for the INJURED at that point of time.

Kindly RESTRAIN from bashing the tackler or perpetrator or leg-cruncher as this thread is for you to feel for the ones on the crutches/bandages.
Ex. "Taylor is a friggin murderer" <-- None of this please!!

The worst injuries i've seen (In no specific order)

1) Larsson Vs Lyon
2) Cant remember the guys name, but if im not mistaken, he was on the receiving end of Michael Balls elbow (i think)
3) Yeste Vs Getafe
4) Eduardo Vs Birmingham

Unfortunately I cudnt locate the video on Yeste's injuries, but please feel free to give your input!

Time Out in Football

American football have it, and so does the NBA. Will it make a difference to the sport or will it only contribute to the breaking of the game flow ?

NBA teams find it absolutely critical cos its helps the team to regroup in the last few minutes or seconds of the match and helps to counter the opposition or even find a dynamic route thru their defence.

How will it help football? Can it help when ure team is 1-0 down and everyone needs a kick up their backsides to get back on track? Or would it be detrimental to your side, especially when your team plays free flowing football?
