Lazada's misleading scam-like advertising

I am so freaking crossed with Lazada as I have been a regular and loyal client for so many purchases.

I ordered and paid for a rugged phone on July 23rd - Blackview BV9000 @ the cheapest price on offer! Then I ordered the same day screen protectors and a few days later, an additional charger cable plus mobile phone pouches.

More than a week later Lazada informed me that they are refunding my purchase of the phone with reasons that the vendor had limited stock and yet - they are still advertising this phone

What am i to do with the screen protectors? additional cable charger? Mobile phone pouches meant for the blackview BV9000?

I think the vendor AND Lazada wants me to reorder the same phone but fr a higher price - freaking fu**ing scam by an Alibaba-owned company!!!!

UniFi Upgrade Trap

I was excited..note the the word WAS ..when TM announced of the free upgrades....and even received a pleasant email too.

A few months later, I got a call from 03 22568000 informing that I will be getting the free upgrade from 10 to 30...i only use UniFi for normal surfings and the occasional movie downloads.

The caller informed me that I also qualify to get a new modem..but the technician has to come and check if my area can get the upgradings. They also informed me that if I were to get a new box incase the old stuff Im using cannot accommodate the upgrading, it would have to be under someone else's name...wife, child or a buddy. I asked why? Im the one that makes the monthly payments and Ive been a very long and loyal customer of TM since its slow streamyx days. TM insisted that as every new box including free upgradings, must use a new name - i think they want a new client as Id have to pass the person's name, IC and phone number too....

According to the caller, its the SOP TM...Standard Operating Procedure...why can't they use my name instead of a new suggested name?

I told the caller..what if i do want to use someone else's name for the new box and the caller says, well..Id have to pay for the new box which can be bought from the nearest TM Point.

The account is under MY name...not anyone's else...so what gives?

What knd of idiotic way to force users to get new potential names for them?

What do you think of this TM UniFi sly con approach?

Choosing android tv

Hi everyone....Im asking as non-techie person myself.

I have UniFi 10...hopefully UniFi will really keep its promise to do a free UniFi 20 upgrade free @ UniFi 10 price and very keen to buy a good reputable android TV for me to watch HF movies, HD documentaries and of course FOOTBALL and RUGBY!

Im in KL....and can someone suggest me android box set that is easy to install and operate as well as easily bought either @ Lelong or Lazada?

Also...the android TV box must be WiFi capable as my TV and home theatre is on one wall while my UniFi modem stuff located across the TV & Home Theatre.

Hi all..need an opinion.
I bought a refurbished laptop from a seller in Bandar Permaisuri via Lelong.com.my and the Lenovo X201 laptop keeps on giving me problems.
The first one has windows start up problems..it was send back & recollected TWICE @ my additional costs....and then the laptop shuts down by itself several times which made me lost my work....and the laptop was returned again.
The Bangla technician refused to accept my complaint and I had to tell him to sit and watch the laptop for 15/20 minutes while doing several work on the laptop @ the same time as I know technicians will leave laptops & PCs running while they go somewhere else to do something else.
He finally admitted there was an issue with the motherboard.
A similar morel replacement laptop was given but there's this chinese charactes pop out that always tuen up as well as another pop up that says your homepage has been swirhced to www.dupa.com..etc etc....who the F asked him to installed a software that I never asked for and in a language that I do not understand.
This Fg Bangla technician asked that he remedied the problem via teamviewer but no way i was goingto allow this to happen.
WHERE or which authority should I report to about the illegal installation of this chinese software?
I hope other potential buyers will NOT suffer from this same problem.
Complaining to lelong is a waste of time as Lelong needs sellers....i have had a bad experience with Lelong.

Im using a ZGPAX S9 rugged phone using 4.2.2 Jelly bean..of late it has been hanging and there is also flickering screen.

What would be the problem of suggestions to oversome the above please?

I use an android phone 4.2.2. version and the screen has begun to flicker....

Ive gooled and tried many things such as disable HW overlays or maximising the brightness - keeps coming back.

Any solutions please?

While I ws trying to download a movie..unfortunately it was via the torntv site and as a result I have this isearch.omiga search on my laptop,

I use Win 7 32 bit and Ive been trying to rid of it - so far Spyhunter can remove it but its not free!

Ive tried using google chrome setting and changing the page to google.com but to no avail.

Any advices please?

It used to be a breeze but suddenly this appeared even after Ive tried to download and install MP3 download - no problems with other downloads...

Ive googled this problem and all i saw in trying to solve it are stuff oly techies or developers can understand - im very good with the parang as i work in the jungles for more than 30 years but all this geeky stuff - sorry ma!

Anyone can help me out and " speak english " too..if you know what I mean.

I have a phone with dual sim card...trying to find the best combination simply for network coverage..i

Both prepaids.... one is celcom and the other one is maxis RM30 for 1G though I use mobile internet sparingly to check whatsapp messages and quick emails - hardly any surfing.

If i go post paid or contract...rugi cos i work much of the time in and by the edge of the jungles....

Im thinking maybe migrate to Redtone or perhaps to Tunetalk.. hopefully i wont lose ny or both my current numbers...

Any advises or suggestions please?

With daily transportation costs going up.... wouldnt it be good if we didnt have such complicated mobile call/data plans..both prepaid ad post paid.

I have a rugged android phone which serves me well in the jungles where I work for about 2 weeks a month - surprisingly there is reasonable cellphone coverage nowadays for most part of Peninsular Malaysia.

Im about to change my MoreSurf50 maxis plan back to prepaid plan as what is told by their counter in KLCC is different from what the Maxis Forum says... i hate being lied.

My phone has dual simcards..I use Maxis generally for short whatsapp messages and quick replies in my gmail and no surfing whatsover as I have UniFi @ home and can also tumpang Wifis in McDonalds or coffee shops each time I work outstation.

I use around 500mb and hardly beyond 1G a month.

I also use Celcom prepaid in case there isnt Maxis coverage or my then Maxis Prepaid expires.

My question is...
1. Is there a ONE YEAR non expiry Prepaid plan around? What is it like cost wise?
2. Which is better in terms of coverage , speed and cost wise between Celcom PrePaid or Maxis?

Sometimes, walkie talkies dont work in the jungles...and cellular coverage works..even a quick sms between my team and the other team in the jungles is a big help!

Please advise....

Sometimes..when Im typing using word...there is a delay where the cursor blinks and a few seconds later the words or letters come out..

Ive used malwarebytes anti malware, ' cccleaner and even do defrag but the problem still appears...someone suggested i clear the TMP..what is TMP?

When in a realistical survival situation - who dares TO win? Man or woman?

It has been a very long time since an all women's jungle survival course was offered and we'd like to do one such programme from March 8th to 11th deep in the jungles of Mount Bubu, Perak via Ulu Terong.

Is the wettest jungles in Malaysia.....and its not your usual trek into Taman Negara as this jungle is still used by the famous vat69 commandos as part of their jungle survival trainings.

As former veterans of vat69, GGK and Royal Rangers...we invite women to join this programme...but we will only run this if we can get the minimum number of 12 pax....

Expect 4kgs to be lost, egos bruised, hands and feet scratched by the hostile jungles but come out with the glowing and growing pride that the jungles does not choose man or woman to survive !
