Dell Studio XPS 16

Hi everyone, i planned to get a laptop for my work(software engineer) which may need to run development tools like eclipse, tomcat web server, and photoshop. I personally like DELL because i heard they able to fix our laptop within few days, i do not like to send my laptop to factory for a week - month.

However, recently i get a lot of bad comments on DELL inspiron & studio XPS saying that defective rate of both models are very high.

Any suggestion for my case will be appriciated. Thank you.
