Problem in Fresh XP install

Hey there.. Hope all you hardware Guru's might give me a hand here.. I jus reformatted and reinstalled Win XP in my drive.. Everything went smoothly and the whole thing installed without a hitch..

But then, once accessing the OS after reboot, things weren't well.. You see, once on XP's loading screen, after a few seconds, my monitor just shuts down.. I cant say whether it hangs or not but i'll have to reboot again.. But i can access XP through safe mode.. I tried checking if there's anything that preventing me to access through normal mode but i see nothing..

Note that,
I've checked my HDD ut no problem's found.
I've reinstalled a couple of times but problem persist.

So anyone can help me?? Thanx in advance!!

Hi, hope someone can help me out.. I jus got a CPU from a friend. Let me give the specs.

Its a Dell OptiPlex GX270 with Pentium 4 2.66ghz and i assume its a 478 socket board.
Intergrated VGA and Sound
1ghz DDR PC-3200 (400Mhz)

Ok, so here's the problem.. I dont seem to get the thing working. I manage to turn it on, but nothing happens. No bios or anything. It's blank with no activity. The only way i know it's on is by monitoring the mobo. So hope someone could guide me here.. Any help appreciated.. Thanx!!
