im having problem with my usb port on board

it cant detect all usb devices like thumbdrive and mouse

as for thumbdrive where there are lights indicating read and write , once i plugged in , no light blinking

i`ve tried :

reseting bios

using usb to ps2 convertor

plan to set up a proxy server (http cache) , do i need a large bandwidth for the server? cause my company got around 80 clients will connected to it .. AFAIK , client will request from proxy 1st before going to the internet ... upon going to the internet , which bandwidth doest it uses ? the proxy or client ? assume all client IE setting point to the proxy server

Chinese Typing Software

i`m currently using windows chinese typing software , but it cant seems to work properly cause once i go into fullscreen i press the shortcut key to switch between language it doesnt work although i alt tab click by my self on the taskbar , it will switch back to EN once i load my program again ... anyone can help ?

i have a pc running windows xp with 2 nic , both with different ip , same netmask , different gateway , 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2

both gateway with 2 diffent isp , lan ip , router .

i want my pc able to run surfing with gateway 192.168.1.1 and bt using the other one

is it possible ?

I would like to share a drive thru the network and with password protected

here is what i had tried :

all pc have different user and computer name

i add a user in pc1 called "mike" with password "1234" under administrators group

pc1 share a drive out name "a$" with basic permission and security i add a user named "mike"
pc2 i type "\\pc1\a$" i can see the file but i cant modify

how to make pc2 when type "\\pc1\a$" , it will prompt to enter username password and after verified , i able to read and modify all files and folder

i`m having difficulty making changes to my site , by default chmod for directory in joomla is 755 , with this chmod there is nothing i can change via the admin panel in joomla..i have to set it to 777 everytime i make changes but it is very dangerous .. is there any better way for this problem ?
