Realised there is no thread for RE0-specific discussion here. Lets compare this gem against other IEM.

need help from all networking sifus

Is there anyway i can route ppl who are using the same router, by having the dns records route them to a different ip of my choice when they type in an address??

e.g. lowyat IP is 34.22.182.199

i want it so ppl who type lowyat address get resolved to a different ip of my choice, say 23.112.111.222

is there anyway to do this..i suppose at the router config?? router model is riger db102

My friend is deciding to buy a laptop and asked me to look for her since she's not so into computer stuff..

I found 2 within budget a Compaq and an Acer...

The Compaq has a 1.6 Ghz Turion X2, 256 MB ram and GeForce Go 6150

The Acer has 2.0 Ghz Turion 64 (single core) and 512 MB of ram and ATi Xpress 1100

The Acer is cheaper by rm100.

The rest of the specs i will not mention coz is similar for both models.

The compaq has the better processor, but the Acer has more ram and is cheaper!

Which one should i recommend to buy?? Any help? Need Answer within next 24 hours...any answer after dat don need liao...Thanks guys...
