Hi, I'm thinking to get an Asus laptop from lazada/shopee but it's china imported set. The seller claim that Asus is providing International warranty. Just wonder is it OK to buy the China set instead of local set? Thanks

OpenSuse 12.1 lag

Hi guys, i just installed openSUSE 12.1 on my laptop but it seems like quite laggy on running on my laptop.
The animation and effect of sliding/fading in or out is lag. it isnt smooth as how windows handle it or ubuntu.

My laptop is dell studio 1435 and the spec is as below

CPU :Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU T6400 @ 2.00GHz
RAM :4gb
HDD : 320GB
GC: ATI RADEON 3400

any idea?

Laptop gets very hot on Ubuntu

Hi, im running ubuntu 11.04 on my dell laptop.
The average temperature that detects from the sensor is about 70+ degree Celsius. It's kinda hot compare with Windows 7 on my laptop.
Any solutions or it's normal ?

i just got my yes! 4g device but i cant use it in ubuntu.
No driver detected.
Is there anyone know how to do a little bit tweaking on it so that i works on ubuntu?
i found all over the internet and cant solve it. ><

Hi. i got an Eee pc 1015 pem with windows 7 ultimate which i had reformatted it few months ago.
And now i encountered one problem which is the windows automatically shut down sometimes and it seems like the hard disk problem.
It unable to boot too sometimes. Can i know what is the problem ? i brought it to a computer shop and they said it's because im not using genuine windows and it caused this problem. Is that true? I unable to boot and it not yet enter the windows, is this the problem that caused by not using genuine windows? Thanks all in advanced!
