Toyota chief test driver Hiromu Naruse dies in LFA

The Nurburgring can be one very ruthless track that doesn’t forgive mistakes but this time around, the Death Ring was not what claimed the life of Toyota’s Chief Driver Hiromu Naruse while leaving a couple of BMW Test Driers battling for their lives with grievous injuries.
This horrific accident happened on highway 410 near the Nurburgring where Naruse collided head with the BMW after veering into the opposite lane. While details are sketchy at the moment, the pictures suggest a head on collision that seems to have occurred at a high speed.
Incidentally, the 67 year old Hiromu Naruse, apart from being Akio Toyoda’s personal driver is widely regarded as Godfather of the LFA. What an irony this, that a man who helped build the LFA met his end behind the wheels of one. Very tragic indeed. At least, he died doing what he loved doing the most. Lets pray that Hiromu Naruse’s soul rests in peace and that the BMW drivers recover soon.

BMW modded with Toyota engine

Hi,

Yesterday visited a workshop specialized in transplant toyota engine into BMW cars...

Saw at least 8 BMWs in the workshop....

Quite impress & may thinking of getting one BMW for this purpose....

Basically they only touch on the engine itself leaving others in its original conditions.

Anyone driving of this BMW now?

Maybe u can share ur experience here...

P/S: saw one failed modded BMW there. Just arrived from Penang after the workshop there unable to continue the process.

Oh yes, rough estimation cost for the cost is around RM12k to Rm 14K depending on the engine model & CC....

What engine can be transplant into camry SVX20

I were force to change the whole engine..

So, i would like ask what engine can be transplant it other than the original engine itself??

Anyone done it before ??

I intend to request rate increase for it but before that, i would like to know what is the mileage claims rate of your company before requesting for it.

Let's me start 1st, RM 0.55 before fuel hike. Now remains unchanged.

We have spoken several times about oil, which oil etc.
Something what never was mentioned is how long can I keep the oil in my car.
Normally everybody will say 5000 km - 7500 km.
Personal,I drive 20.000-30.000 km before I change oil and that already for 20 years.

It's not a secret that big transport company's let their oil in their trucks for 250.000 km
In between they test their oil in a lab. Result: still good. maintenance Cost: only top up the oil and oil filter change.
Dirty parts in the oil make the oil black, but they got capped
That is just a good sign.
Everybody will say, black oil has to be changed !
With this statement I will be attacked by everyone, but now I have found some proof from others.
Therefore I like to share this with you.

Today I read in the Dutch newspaper that the previous director of Castrol Netherlands (86 years old) says that he drive his car with the same oil for 350.000 km and he claimed that it is not necessary to change oil.
For years ago he has developed a chip what can be connected on the oil dip which shows when to change.
This chip cost Euro 40 and shows when the oil get sauer, (distributed by a another website).
He claims that professionals with a petrochemical and engine technical background will aimed
that the black oil can be changed after a couple of 100.000 km or years of use.
He says, all this oil change is a hype, it has to do with new cars and warranty, money and to have regular customers.
It is only a good deal for the the oil industry and car sellers.
No dealer/car repairer will say this is true, because it cost their customers and profit.
This old Castrol director has taken a long way to show this, but oil companies keep him his mouth shut and labs who can proof will be paid by oil companies to change the results.
He keeps fighting.
Questions will be ask in the European parliament about this matter.

It looks like the same story as the car what was developed to drive drive on water/ hydrogen.
This guy got murdered after he didn't want to sell his plans for a lot of money.

You can count the amount where we here talking about.
A average from 40 oil changes/per car multiplied with all cars in Malaysia.
Wow a hugh sum of money and it would be very good for our environment.

Since i travel quite far daily, thinking of trying this method as the this guy has been driving 30k km before change oil again..

however, he did change de oil filter every 5k km...

oh yes, this only applicable for car that not drive for short distant daily..

Bus crashed into ravine this morning or last nite

Hi guys,

This morning while coming to work, i saw 2 cranes near the seremban exit bound north is lifting a badly damaged bus from a ravine.

I dont think the news appear in paper yet cos the acccident may happend last midnite till this early morning.

From the source, 1 passenger died in the crashed...

man, wat is happening to our govenment ??

Seem they unable to improve the safety of bus passenger & we still heard alot of accident involving buses..

Lets discuss this..
