EPF Nominee

Hi all, want to ask something. I know we can nominate nominees for our EPF online and can also change if we want to. But my question is, when I first nominate someone to be my nominee. Will this person be informed? Will this person be informed that I've selected him/her as my EPF nominee. Eg. if I put the phone contact and email address of the nominee.

Anyone knows about this? Or any experience? I can't really find this information on the internet.

Formaldehyde Removal for newly renovated house

I’ve just renovated my old house.
1. All brand new tiles on floor and wall
2. All new paint
3. All new kitchen to room cupboards
4. New furnitures

House is now ready and I wanted to move in earlier but was told to wait for 1-2 months because for formaldehyde. Is it really that serious?

I saw a lot of formaldehyde removal spray and absorber gel being sold online. Are they effective?

Anyone knows or have any experience on this? Can share?

Project Management Roles

Hello all,

Asking to ask for opinions over here and also want to connect with Project Managers here in this forum.

I'm from an accounting background, currently doing finance related roles. I'm being offered Project Manager role to handle finance projects mainly and other operation projects. Salary increment is 100%. I'm on 5 figures now.

Should I take the jump? Try 2 years and if regret then back to accounting/finance roles?

My only concern is that I may waste 2 years of not improving my accounting/finance knowledge and experience. And this will affect my future career pathway. But the money offered is really tempting. no way my current employer can give me 100% increment. i expect them to counter offer me with max of 50% increment when i tender later.

I've seen someone as PM of finance projects in a telco company ended up being the Head of Finance eventually. Also of course I've meet some who just did badly and wasted their time on their role as PM.

Hope to get some good advices and experience sharing as PM from you guys here. thanks!

Remuneration:
Basic salary of RM3,300

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Communications/Marketing, Journalism or related field.
• Required language (s) : English & Bahasa Malaysia. Excellent Mandarin fluency is an added advantage (as you may deal with China clients)
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position, however fresh Graduate are encouraged to apply too.
• Familiar with the operating rules of major e-commerce platforms, with excellent channel management capabilities and customer relationship management capabilities, priority is given.
• Excellent Communication skills – must be able to clearly describe plans and strategic vision to the marketing and management.
• Good in Microsoft Excel
• Strong market sensitivity and insight; with data analysis capabilities, sensitive to sales related data;
• Computer literate - Microsoft Office Application, knowledge in HTML, Adobe Photoshop & basic SEO understanding
• Preferable can start work immediately.
