Is she really desperate or under spell?

Recently, one of my colleagues told me that O (another colleague) who is 30 plus Chinese woman date a Malay guy, N who is also around that age. I have nothing against the Non-Malay with Malay but he is married and with children too. Funny is that guy is from our production department and she is account executive.

Before that, she also used to messaging with one of the foreign production worker, a Vietnamese every night and he do likes her a lot but then she said to him she only likes N. Then the Vietnamese question her why she choose a guy that is married and with children, then she response that yes she want to be his second wife.

Everyone in the production knew about it including the night shift guard and to my surprise the guard also fond of her because they used to talk a lot whenever she at the guard house. Office did not know about it but it is exposed when the company went for company trip because my colleague saw O and N together in a room by accident.

Her close friend colleagues, E also the same. She is married with children but having affair with one of the Malay production worker too from our company. That Malay guy also married and with children too but yet they could do such thing. Do they want companion in the work place?

Is O desperate for guy because afraid her age is catching up and simply choose a guy or she really love him or under his spell? I will say O have a decent appearance and she is not fat at all. From my judgement, she skinny and rather pretty, I don't think she will have trouble attracting guys. Could she have small circle of friends?

I just want to know it is normal in every company will have this sort of affair? I'm new to working industry but rather shocking to hear it. The main reason I'm posting this topic is I want to help her actually.

how do you know you love him/her or care him/her?

how do you know you still love him/her or care him/her? how to differentiate this two terms?
somehow, relationship in long term will become uncertain whether it is still love or just a care?
what is in your opinion?
