Held on the 8-9th December 2012 at PC Fair, Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.

In conjunction with AMD and MSI Malaysia together, DB Looi and Bob(NZ) were invited as a special guest to attempt to break world record. DB Looi was given the AMD FX-8350 core while Bob(NZ) was given the AMD A10-5800k. Both of them were overclocking using liquid nitrogen or known as LN2.

MSI Malaysia Responds to Intel Sandy Bridge Chipset Design Flaw
MSI Malaysia has taken cognizance of the design issues in Intel 6 series chipsets. According to Intel, the performance of Intel SATA2 ports on Intel 6 series products has the tendency to degrade over time. In response to this piece of information, MSI Malaysia is prepared to swap a new mainboard for users who have purchased the affected mainboard (B1/B2 Stepping). The affected mainboards are listed below.

MSI Mainboards
Intel P67: P67A-GD65, P67A-GD55, P67A-GD53, P67A-C45, P67A-C43.
Intel H67: H67MA-ED55, H67MA-E45, H67MA-E35.

MSI Notebook
Intel HM67: GT680R

Replacement Solution
All affected Mainboards will be replaced with the NEW B3 Stepping Mainboads effective 2nd April 2011 onwards. The MSI Malaysia Representative Office shall be the designated replacement center for all affected users in the Kuala Lumpur/Selangor area. Affected users from outside the area are required to contact their respective dealers for replacements. To qualify for a replacement, kindly provide MSI Malaysia with the faulty mainboard (with the valid Serial Number sticker still intact) and Proof of Purchase. Each qualified replacement will further be presented with a MSI SATA3 Addon Card by MSI Malaysia.

(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - March 1, 2011) MSI Malaysia is glad to announce that shipments of the MSI 6 series mainboards equipped with the new Intel B3 stepping chipsets are estimated to arrive at various local distributor venues on 3rd March, 2011. The mainboards are scheduled for retail in the following week. The affected mainboards are listed below.

Replacement Solution
Announcements to kick-start the Sandy Bridge Replacement Program will be made upon receipt of the shipments.

Additionally, MSI Malaysia regrets to inform that there has been a delay in the shipping of the MSI SATA2 Addon Card. To address the consequences of this delay, affected users are given the option to swap the mainboard in the interim pending delivery of the MSI SATA3 Addon Card to their preferred addresses via Poslaju. The other option available would be to wait for the restocking of the MSI SATA3 Addon Card anticipated to be completed by 31 March 2011. Those who prefer this option will have the opportunity to make a mainboard exchange and receive the MSI SATA3 Addon Card on the same day.

The MSI Malaysia Representative Office shall be the designated replacement center for all affected users in the Kuala Lumpur/Selangor area. MSI Malaysia Online OverClocking Challenge 2011 - Super Pi 1M
Dear OverClocking Addicts here in Malaysia. We, MSI Malaysia is glad to present you our first Official OverClocking Challenge. All along we only supported a few OC Events organized by the community itself. And the respond has been great. So now we decided to organize one ourselves to test our organizing ability and also to gain more knowledge about the OverClocking Market locally. Straight to the point, we would really love to lend our hand to the Malaysia OverClocking Community in any way possible. So after 2 days of discussion and a little consultation from members who organized such OverClocking Challenge before, MSI Malaysia Online OverClocking Challenge 2011 - Super Pi 1M is now ONLINE. Therefore, with only 2 days of planning, the prizes may not be as amazing as expected but if the respond is encouraging, this will be an on-going project with better prizes. It may turn to MSI Monthly OverClocking Challenge 2011.

Open to Malaysia community or anyone residing in Malaysia.
One can only participate in one category only. Therefore only multiple submissions for single category is allowed. The best score will be taken as final result.
Only Super PI Mod v1.5XS is allowed.
Only CPU-Z v1.56 or the latest version is allowed.
Any component brands is ALLOWED to PARTICIPATE!
Only Air and Water Cooling. For LN2 lovers, please do give us some feedback as the LN2 players are not much.
