I recently watched this classic once again and was doing some Wiki and found out that...

Heather_O'Rourke (the little sister) died a few years later at the age of 12.
Dominique_Dunne (the older sister) died after completing the movie at the age of 22.

It also seems that Steven Spielberg never really did anymore 'ghost' horror movies after that... (well.. Casper doesn't really count la). It's like this movie is cursed or something
For those who hasn't caught this yet.. go get it...

4/5 for this classic horror flick.

I just got an e-mail with some photos of Singapore's Universal Studio and all I can say is... Malaysia is in for a really rough time when it comes to tourism and entertainment industry.

Added 3 of the 28 photos.

I'm currently in Penang, always looking at Pulau Jerejak and thinking to myself what a paradise it would have been to develop that particular island into a Resort cum Theme Park cum Casino... It would have been one of the perfect getaway spots in this country.

Soft & Smooth Water

Not sure how many of you guys and gals been to Europe and actually drank bottled water there... but I remember very clearly how 'soft' and 'smooth' a bottled mineral water I bought from McD in Milan, Italy tasted... compared to our Spritzer or any brand so far here in Malaysia. It was chilled but not cold and when drinking, it just went down smoothly. Coming back here, I tried different brands here and found them rather 'harsh' / rough... Is there a filtration system that can duplicate or 'soften' that kinda of water? Or spring water in europe just tastes better?

I've got a Belkin Wifi Modem Router. Think its 802.11g spec.

Current Setup (Room)

- Windows 7 PC
- Mede8er multimedia player (Sharing via NAS so I can transfer media files from my PC to my Mede8er)
- PS3

(wireless)
- notebook

Future Setup (Condo)

Living Room
- Mede8er (no wireless)
- PS3

Master Bedroom
- Mede8er (or Possibly another Mede8er if I keep the old unit in the living room)

Bedroom 1 (Study Room)
- Windows 7 PC

Around the House
- Notebook
- iPad (future.. gonna use it as my electronic newspaper, internet browser, etc)

I've been thinking about how to setup for the new place. Been cracking my head and can't seem to come to a conclusion so I thought I'd get all your views. I wanna get another LCD TV for the master room.

1. Should I upgrade to 802.11n?
2. Should I put the Wifi Modem Router in the Living room or the Study Room (next to the PC)? If I put it into the room, there might not be any telephone port there. Think only the Living Room and the Master Bedroom has the telephone port.
3. 1MB streamyx upgrade to 2MB streamyx?
4. Do I need to purchase something extra?
5. Is there such a thing as a AP point (with ethernet or audio and video out?)

What I want to achieve?
- Store Audio files in 1 location and play/stream them in either the living room, master bedroom or the study room.
- Store Video files in 1 location and play/stream them (if can't play, at least transfer them from my PC to my Mede8er) in either the living room, master bedroom or the study room.
- Wifi throughout the home
- If possible, no hacking walls and no wires going all over the place

New PUG or Used Beemer?

1. Brand : New Peugeot 308 Turbo or Used BMW 318 (E46)
2. Budget : its more or less within the same price range
3. New/Used/Unreg : New / Used

After driving the beemer for a few weeks, I'm converted!
Looking around, I noticed that a used beemer (E46) is about the same price as a new PUG 308.
While, I've not test drive the PUG yet, I've heard a lot of good reviews here and there... plus its a new car.

What say you guys? Share some views here, please.

HDMI switch

Hybrid Graphics

Was reading about ATi Hybrid Graphics recently...

I'm using an ATi 4850 and thinking about changing a motherboard (not sure which one) which has Integrated Graphics so I can switch between the Integrated Graphics chip and the 4850 to conserve power consumption, provided that it can really work that way... anyone here tried out this setup yet?

Hi there creative folks,

I'm organising a coloring contest for orphans this coming Diwali and was wondering if any of you would like to contribute any of your art to be used for this event?

I just need it in outline so the kids can color it with crayons. I've already found a sponsor for Crayons and prizes, so I just need a nice composition.

Try to create something or rather a theme that can make these orphans happy.
