Hi guys, i am facing a huge issue with the house owner. it is the first time encountering such an issue. From the day i signed the agreement it was a total regret. Agent promised to have the unit ready by 20th April, as i informed him need the unit earlier due to my shifting conditions. Everthing was agreed on by the first week of April. FYI this is a new unit, and the owner needed to install lightings, grills, curtains, water heater as promised. the unit came with airconds and fans but we couldnt test cause the unit had no electricity.

I was on the final week of the 20th and there was Zero works done, not even cleaning up as the house was filthy due to all the dust for almost 2 years. after mutiple calls to the agent and discussion they said they need another 2 weeks. i was furious but decided to be accommodating and said fine, but i need to move in my furniture in here first and he agreed. So i proceed to move the furniture in first and i tried to clean up the unit, but me and my wife have got dust alergies and we ended up sick. i told the agent if he can get the owner to clean up the unit he said he will try. on the last day of April they managed to only complete the lights and water heater and turned on the electricity. THERE WERE STILL NO GRILLS installed as the contractor said need more time. Again after arguing with the agent, i gave in. Onwer asked the Agent to tell me to bank in the deposit. with a heavy heart i did. i then found out that all the airconds dont work (no cold air), all the fans make this very loud buzzing sound on the high speed. i informed the Agent to inform the owner. i wasnt even being super fussy with the fan issue and asked him to fix the unit in the master room and the hall and the rest of the rooms we can leave it. i also then noticed i didnt have the letterbox key again, i informed the agent the keys didnt come with letter box keys.

its been 1 whole month now, still outstanding the curtains, letterbox key, aircond and fan issues. few days ago i stuck my hand into the letter box and found out its full right to the top with OUTSTANDING BILLS! i told the agent, the agent always tells me that the onwner doent want pick his calls. FYI i havent met the onwer as according to the agent he has no time to meet.

I have yet to pay my first month rent as i told the agent that i want a solution to this issues before proceeding. i haven even suggested that i can go ahead and settle the outstanding works and will deduct off the rent, but i need direct consent from the owner and in black and white to avoid disputes. So guys what are my rights as a tenant in this scenario? i am generally very flexible and i had no issues in my previous place. Previous Owner was very accomodating and always paid the management fee on time, and was easily contactable when i had issues with TNB. so this is my first time dealing with someone who doesnt care about the unit or about whom is living in his unit. Please advice

Hi Guys,

i own a suprima, and i intend to change the headunit at some point. i am a lil unfamiliar with modern day builtin infotainment systems. My questions is do after market units support the existing parking sensors? (front and rear) i know most do support the reverse cam, but is it possible to link it up as per the existing? (automaticly turn on when reverse gear engaged) what about the steering controls? i dont really use the front parking sensors but due to my level of OCD it would be great if it could work like stock.
