Kena accident, lesson learnt

I recently got into an accident, the driver behind me knock my backside.

At the time, I chose to report polis. Both of us reported and he was fined RM 300.

Later I found out that settle might have been better. The repair bill was RM 450 but if I go and wait for the insurance people to do their thing, it would take over 1 month.

Lesson learnt: IF it is a minor knock, then just ask to settle. Not sure of the consequences if the other offending party decides to report and you don't. I guess it's a trust and gentlemanly agreement issue.

Summary: Not my mistake, but have to pay RM 450 out of my pocket so I get the car quickly. My insurance is AIG.

I received a call from 03 26388332 claiming to be from UOB.

They wanted to do a survey asking me to answer YES or NO to their questions on how their CS service was.

No personal information was given during this called, other than him identifying my name.

I think I might have been scammed.

I called UOB and they need to investigate further.

Should I make a polis report? Thanks for your advice.

Mesh mode with 3 AP

I got 3 routers - same model (run in AP mode) with same SSID and same 2.4/5ghz channel numbers and same WPA2 password.

Am I configuring it right, if I want to mesh it to extend my Wifi network? The APs are all connected hard wired Ethernet.

Symptoms: When roaming, it takes forever to connect / fail to connect to nearest AP.

Appreciate your help.

Can't connect to Unifi modem

Newbie here,

I have a router 192.168.1.1 and UniFi modem has been given static IP 192.168.1.6

When I ping 192.168.1.6 from my computer, it will loopback to my ip (eg. 192.168.1.77)

And says Destination Host Unreachable.

Rebooted Modem, management admin panel for Unifi was working previously. Now just page not found.

Any idea?
