HI Edifier,

Do you guys sell this cable?

I think mine problematic

At first, i thought my sound card gone, but after further checking, seems like the cable above problematic

I tried with earphone on same jack, no issue

If plugged to computer, no output at all.
Even tested with a mini speaker..

Or if you don't sell, please guide me where I can get this..

If you have it, or perhaps need to order, I don't mind waiting.

Proton recalls 2004-08 Gen2 and Satria Neo models

SUBANG JAYA: National automaker Proton has announced a voluntary recall of its Gen2 and Satria Neo cars made between 2004 and 2008 due to a clock spring malfunction that raised potential safety concerns.

The voluntary recall, which is part of its Global Quality Assurance programme, affects 15,911 (2%) of 660,000 cars produced and sold over the four-year period. The clock spring connects switches and airbag to the radio, horn and cruise control.

"Although the number is small, the safety of our customers is paramount and we apologise for any inconvenience caused," said Proton Holdings Berhad Group Managing Director Datuks Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir in a statement Thursday. "The recall is an example of the commitment we place on our customers' safety, and the reliability of our vehicles under Proton's Global Quality Assurance programme.

"We hope our customers understand that this recall is necessary to ensure their continued confidence in the safety and performance of their vehicles," he added.

All labour and parts costs related to the replacement of the clock spring will be provided at no charge at Proton's authorised service centres nationwide, he said.

Proton will be sending letters to affected customers notifying them of the matter. A dedicated website, www.protonaftersales.com, has been set up to help customers check the manufactured year of their vehicle.

For more information and clarification, Proton owners can call 1-300-880-888 or contact their local dealer.

German chipmaker Qimonda declares bankruptcy

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — German memory-chip maker Qimonda AG declared bankruptcy Friday, just a month after receiving a rescue package of millions of euros (dollars) in loans.

Munich administrative court spokeswoman Ingrid Kaps confirmed media reports that the company had declared bankruptcy, but could provide no further details.

Qimonda, headquartered in Munich with a large manufacturing base in Dresden, refused immediate comment.

The company in December secured a rescue package of euro325 million ($421.98 million) in loans from government of Saxony, parent company Infineon and a Portuguese state bank in order to try and stave off bankruptcy.

Makers of computer memory chips have been hit hard by falling prices and an oversupply of products.

Infineon spun off Qimonda in 2006 but still holds a 77.5 percent stake.

Qimonda has more than 12,000 workers worldwide, with some 3,500 in Saxony, 1,500 in Munich and also several thousand in Portugal.

Shares of Infineon were down 7 percent at euro0.65 in Frankfurt morning trading.
