guys, recently my com has this kind of problem

and often the monitor will go black for a while, before returning to normal, saying that "display driver xxxxxxx has stopped responding/ crash (something like that) and has successfully recovered.

how can i fix this?

Undergraduate in economics

I'm planning to join a course that majors primarily in economics, but there is a problem that I am concern about, that is, what can I do with the degree? I've checked online, and the employment opportunities ranges from economist to analyst, advisors and managers, but those answers that i gather are from overseas- mainly US. What about Malaysia?

My parents are skeptical about the career prospects should i take up economics, it is said that the graduates are practically salesman with sugar coated titles.

I have also a question, between a degree in Business Economics and Finance, and a degree in Economics only, which would be a wiser choice?

Economics, dilemma of choosing

Good morning everyone.

I'll try to make this as short as possible.

I want to pursue a degree in that majors in Economics. There's a number of colleges that I've checked, so far, only Nottingham (Malaysia Campus) and HELP suit my interests, they provide UK certificate upon graduation, but I'm not sure which of these 2 should I choose.

For Nottingham, I'd start their 8 months foundation programme first, before proceeding to the BA (Honours) Business Economics and Finance for 3 years. Starting the foundation in this September, I could only join the degree programme next September. The cost of the studies are 12k+84k, total 96k. Getting UK cert, with the word Malaysia Campus caption.

For HELP, I'd do their 12 months foundation programme, then joining the UOL External programme, Bsc Economics, for 3 years. and cost roughly 60k-70k at most. Getting UK cert also, with the word External caption, and the sentence that has the meaning, "this cert is equivalent to the ones offered by UK universities".

Comparison of subjects between the 2 institution tells me that Nottingham is light years better, but I'm tempted to join the UOL programme, because of the name, even though its External Programme.

Can anyone provide me with some opinions of which is better to join?
