Hi fellas,

Happy new year. I am a Malaysian and currently a expanding my team in a Hong Kong company located in Guangzhou area which specializes in architectural acoustic. In Guangzhou area, we have about 500 staffs. Globally (other china region, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany and Malaysia), we have about 3000 staffs. The current job vacancies:

1. Acoustic Engineer

Job descriptions:
- Location is based in Guangzhou, China.
- Prepare architectural acoustic report per requirement.
- Some local travelling will be required.
- Perform some basic acoustic test (Reverb test, ray tracing etc.) in client's base.
- Acoustic product testing and accreditation in our own acoustic lab (biggest in China)
- Any other job related task assigned.

Job requirements:
- English language proficiency is a must.
- Chinese (Mandarin) language proficiency is a must, this is for your survival-ship and working requirements.
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Acoustic or Civil Engineering or anything equivalent.
- Master degree will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 to 3 years related working experience, this is for working visa requirements.
- Must be skilled in EASE or ODEON software.
- 6-days work, may change to alternate Saturday working in the 2nd quarter.

Renumeration package:
- Will cover all the cost for working visa application.
- Salary range is from 13,000 to 30,000 yuan per month before tax, depends on your credentials, negotiable.
- Lunch and dinner are provided everyday.
- Travel allowance.
- Insurance coverage.
- Bonus and angpao will depend on company and personal performance.
- Return flight tickets twice per year.
- 5-days AL, as per China industry standard. Please familiarize yourself with China holiday system, in total have about 20 paid leaves per annum.

2. Software Engineer

Job descriptions:
- Location is based in Guangzhou, China.
- Follow up our current software design project, two of the projects are highly classified for PRC government. So need to have clean background includes if you have any extended relatives in China.
- Lead and develop some related software that can aid acoustic analysis (acoustic engineering training will be provided)
- Any other job related task assigned.

Job requirements:
- English language proficiency is a must.
- Chinese (Mandarin) language proficiency is a must, this is for your survival-ship and working requirements.
- Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronics, Software, Mechatronics, Computer Science or anything equivalent.
- Master or PhD will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 to 3 years related working experience, this is for working visa requirements.
- Must be skilled in Labview, Python or C or C++.
- 6-days work, may change to alternate Saturday working in the 2nd quarter.

- Salary range is from 16,000 to 35,000 yuan per month before tax, depends on your credentials, negotiable.

Tyre recommendation for Honda Civic 2007

Recently I changed all four of my tyre to YOKOHAMA brand tyre for my Civic FD2. The tyre noise is so so noisy even at 60km/h.. By the time I reach 100km/h above, it is practically riding in a freaking train..

I wanna know what is suitable tyre for this car that priority is quietness and comfort ?

My rig is normally use 70% for engineering works and 30% for gaming such as BF3, MF3 and the upcoming diablo 3.

I need some recommendation from all of the forumers for some mouse and keyboard.

My requirements:

1. MUST be wireless as I don't like wires here and there. I know wireless not good for gaming but whatever, wireless it is.
2. Any brand will do, be it from Logitech to Razer.
3. Budget is maximum at RM600.00

Software that I need to use is Solidworks, FLUENT, Gambit, ProE, AutoCAD, LabVIEW, Office app
Games that I wish to play is Starcraft 2, Crysis, coming BF3 and Diablo 3

Budget: RM4.5k to RM5k

Rig must have SSD of 120GB, 2x 23" monitor

Any suggestion ? I don't need over clock or SLI ~ Just want a rig can run all the application above smoothly.

Guys, I am planning on build up a PC that can serve my freelance engineering work and also at the same time, able to play the latest game in the market.

For workstation, software needed are such as SolidWorks, PTC ProE, AutoCAD, LabVIEW, PDMS, Fluent, Gambit etc.
For gaming, any FPS or RTS or RPG game will do.

I done some homework and took a walk in Low Yat last Wednesday and came out with this spec and prices.

Please comment and feedback if you think there are better and cheaper peripherals out there.
